3 Tuck
2 Foley
1 Martin

Edwards, Vickery, Deledio unlucky

Edit: I liked Grigg today. He has turned around his season in the last 3 or 4.

3. Foley..
Very hard to pick players after that.

Melbourne worked hard to the ball out of the hands of Houli and Cotchin.

Lids was awesome when the game was up for grabs..... quiet early though.

different players were good and different times..... thats why I'll give 2. to tuck 4 qtr game... did make some errors but fought for the whole game.

1. Rances work early was good.

Other than Foley, I don't think anyone else played 4 quarters.
3: Foley (best game for the year and didn't just play good here and there, terrific 4 quarter display)
2: Graham (I wouldn't underestimate what this guy did for us today. Outplayed their rucks singlehandedly)
1: Martin (machine, just got better and better)

Thought Tuck was good as well although he made some bad mistakes, but I can forgive mistakes when they are made by trying to do something positive.
Edwards had a good 2nd half.
Thought Jack was good too just in the way he was dangerous every time he got the ball.
Vickery is coming along nicely.
Cotchin's last quarter shows why he is a leader.
Jackson was bad then good, then bad then good. Good outweighed the bad today.
Mitch Farmer can eff off.

3. Foley. Totally dominated for 4 quarters. Kicking let him down, but his intensity and pressure was the best of any Tiger.
2. Dusty. What can you say? Kid is already inside the top 50 players in the AFL. Put on a clinic today.
1. Miller. Thought he was easily our most dangerous forward target. Should of had 5-6 goals, but was marking pretty much everything.

Unlucky: Grigg, Deledio, Edwards and Rance.

Mitch Farmer can eff off.

Yes ... they all wrapped up that tackle he made but if you really looked at that passage properly , he was slow by foot and slow to read that play and should have left his man a lot earlier and got to the pill first but the fact is he did not commit and was very very lucky he stuck the tackle .

Quite an even performance today. As Hardwick said in his press conference afterwards... 'no-one was outstanding" :D

3. Foley to think of trading him is risible
2. Dusty those two goals in the third and 4th...game winning
1. Deledio those two tackles in the 4th .... game saving

HM: Cotchin really wanted to find votes for him.

Maybe I am a little bias, not that I am overly a Graham fan, but that we have been so shite in the ruck all year. But I thought he was terrific and beat one of the better ruck combinations in the AFL. True he still does not do enough around the ground, but his tap work, body work and effort could not be faulted.

3. Foley - He is back and you can tell he has more confidence in his body and is getting to know the game plan and where to be.
2. Graham - for all the reasons mentioned above
1. Martin - Melbourne must be kicking themselves, he def should of gone #1.

Hon mentions to Grigg and Tuck - you cannot fault his effort and despite all his flaws we are a better team with him in it and Mitch Farmer out of it.

I reckon your votes are perfect.:D

I am not the Graham critic that most on here are but to say he was our second best player today really surprises me.

Thought he was just shaded at the centre bounce today and the third man up ploy we have used the last two weeks nulified Jolly around the ground.

5. Tuck - thought his work in the middle and at the bottom of packs was outstanding. Him feeding the ball out is what allowed others to come into it.
4. Foley - benefitted from Tucks hard work.
3. Deledio - stood up in the last when needed.
2. Morton - finally doing the stuff that I've wanted to see from him for a while.
1. Grigg - yes he makes you tear your hair out every now and then, but his work on the wing linking up was the key in us setting up an early lead.

I can see why people would question that.
But I thought he won his position handsomely. Just an opinion.

We won the centre clearances (at least according to ABC radio) and Graham played a lone hand in the ruck so he must of been doing something right. Hardwick said no one was outstanding (apart from Foley) and I agree, there was not all that much in it. I chose Graham because of how badly we have done previously in the ruck and the importance of getting first use of the ball. He showed the difference a competitive ruckman makes to our team and he along with Foley where the only to play 4 quarters of footy - even if he was not exceptional for all those 4 quarters, he was relatively consistent.

Where's the Miller love? Set up the game for us early, showed incredible passion and pressure, tackled hard and got plenty of it.

3. Foley
2. Martin
1. Miller

Hons to Gus, Tucky, Sheds, Cotch. Didn't think Farmer was that bad.

I was thinking the exact same thing. While he isn't in my top three votes he's certainly deserves an honorable mention.

For me:

3. Martin- It was a tough choice between Martin and Foley for the three. I gave it to Martin because he's the one who really stepped up and sealed the game for us in the end.
2. Foley- Starting to look like his 2008 self again.
1. Lids.

Hon mentions. Tuck, Grigg, Miller, Riewoldt, Rance

5 - Foley
4 - Dusty
3 - Tuck
2 - Miller
1 - Deledio
Graham, Vickery, Thursty and Rance unlucky.
-----------------------------
-1 Jackson.
Pretty much works for me except the part about Jackson
We all know that Jacko does not exactly instill confidence with ball in hand but his work on Moloney today will probably be the least effective 25 possie game that Moloney will ever play

LOL at people not naming Tuck in the top 3...

9 clearances, 7 tackles, think I heard on the radio about 19 contested possesions..

This is the sort of game we would have lost without Tuck, there is NO doubt about that.

3. Tuck
2. Foley
1. Martin

3. Foley (best game in a long time)
2. Martin (my love for this kid is borderline unhealthy)
1. Tuck (big set of nuts on this bloke)
Special mention: Grigg, Miller, Edwards And Rance - who would be my fourth best, great game.
