- NOT ****IN' MAN.URE!!
After watching the replay:
3- Cousins - 1 MORE YEAR! 1 MORE YEAR!
2- Connors - Yep..he's a gun kids.
1- Riewoldt - Another mighty effort.
Lids good up until half time. Good to see Newman still working hard even if it wasn't his best game. Tuck ...tried hard as usual..conditions suited him...and yes all you Jackson fanboys ..in those conditions his bigger body and work off the ball would've been handy...but like Tuck I've never been critical of that side of his game...would just prefer mids who can do things with the ball as well...
Martin ok to good..can't expect every game to be a showreel at this stage. Cotchin.....a star and a workhorse...enigmatic today though.
"Born again" players like Edwards, White and King....all exposed in a well beaten side under real pressure that capitalised on our mistakes. The Emperor if not quite naked is still only half-dressed.
Moore gets left in his opponents wake far too easily. Thursfield best defender by a mile again.
Nahas's ineffectiveness in defence -through lack of size, not effort- is a worry...didn't think his attacking game was that bad though. Like far too many on our list though...a very good VFL player.
Tambling...defended him for years...don't know if I can anymore...looks disinterested....a fresh start needed elsewhere... passenger....trade. Has more natural talent than the majority of the list but just refuses to back himself. Crying shame.
Collins & Vickery were indeed awful..but....the former has proven he's smart and can play and the latters still a kid on a steep learning curve playing the slowest developing position on the ground....I'd bring in Browne next week, but maybe leave him up forward.... to take him ahead of the likes of Ziebell and use our first pick on a ruckman who's no NicNat was a mistake....but not the horrendous one some here are making out...we can still make the best of it and turn him to a cut price Kruezer...
The run & energy Nason has given us cannot be underestimated - sorely missed
