WA blues function?

Hey guys in WA,
I got invited to a breakfast function Friday morning 7am.

Friend who I am going with had a table booked through a former eagle so not really sure whats happening. Ratten will be talking as well as someone else but thats all I've heard.

Anyone know anything about it?

7am Claremont footy ground.

A couple of old work colleagues are heading along to the breakfast as well.

Mark Riley who is a former claremont coach and Ratts are the guest speakers. Should be a good show, shame I cant make it but I will make up for it at the spirit of carlton lunch on saturday.

That was classic.

Ratten was speaking about how in 1994 they lost to geelong after being clear favourites. Greg williams won the best and fairest for the blues and in his speech said "Im the best player at the club, the top 5 players are myself and (4 more names)

Then he said the rest of you guys are playing like second teir players (including ratts) and that he didnt come across to the blues not to win a premership.

It was classic.

Also said that the ground at Ethad is a joke and that it doesnt matter what boots are worn the ground is a shocker.

Said Krezer will be used up forward when he returns didn't say who would be traded obviously

The old work colleague of mine that went along said this:

Ratts is a good speaker, as was Bomber Riley.
Ratts is as honest as the day is long. Told it as it is, hid nothing and gave big raps to Yarran, Kreuzer and Simpson. He believes part of the reason Simmo is having a cracking year is because Fev has left the building and taken his larger than life personality with him. That said, he did not appear bitter towards Fev, just expressed his opinion that is time he had to go
