Hi guys, how is Matty Allen travelling so far in the seconds?

After starting in the WAFL reserves he's got himself into the league team and held his place

His last game he had a bit of a mare - seemed every time he got involved in the play he'd **** it up but he's been a contributor in the other games I've seen

His set shot goal kicking from around the 50m arc is as good as I've seen from anybody - it's almost automatic

Still trying to find his best role with East Perth - been played mainly as a leading forward but he probably doesn't have the size yet to be the main guy

Has shown there's something there to work with and I think the club would be reasonably satisfied with his first month of football

Correct. Was shifted to a wing when work rate was questioned, especially after a passage of play where Masten had a "vigourous" discussion with him not manning up at multiple contests.

Thats his best position imo. We could use his size and pace at AFL level. I'd like to see him het a few games in the middle for the Eagles soon. I'm not expecting it to happen though.

Refuses to move 5m to the left to man up on an opponent at three consectutive ball ups dispite being berated by a senior team mate each time. Kicks and punches his opponent behind play when soundly beaten. Gets 80% of his goals standing metres behind the last defender waiting for team mates to work hard and give him a cheap kick and goal.
