Why arent you WAFL lovers up in arms about Subi and the bucket loads of cash they get from their bar takings and seat allocations to sell from the last 20 odd years of AFL games. Subi have been paying overs for coaches and players and cheating for years with the unfair cash advantage. Its not hard to work out why they have been able to line up in the last decade of GF,S .

Wasn't a fan of it either, but not much you can do whilst AFL was being played there.

As you said though, the gravy train has now halted so will enjoy the downfall as im sure you will

Yes and each year players come and go from the aligned teams. East Perth may be strong next season and Peel may not make finals.

Anyone hating on the success of the Peel alignment needs to understand that all leagues have AFL aligned clubs. Instead of hating on Peel or Freo if you think it's unfair tye anti alignment supporters should voice their concern with the WAFC who set it up and created the rules for finals.

It's just Peel and EP playing within the rules.

Yes they have voiced their concern. I've met plenty at the wafl gf who got in Peel supporters faces and aimed it directly at them, Peel and Freo for this instead of the wafc. Some very agressive too.

I'm with you. It actually makes a lot of sense in aligning Freo with Peel as it looked like Peel were never going to get anywhere in the WAFL and may have folded. East Perth on the other hand were a proud club with success and history on their side. Despite that, they too may have gone broke and the alignment probably saved them but at the cost of plenty of resentment from the EP members. Subi do seem to have a bottomless purse to purchase whatever players they like so maybe some sort of investigation is needed. Still thing the Eagles should have had a stand alone team making 10 in the WAFL with no byes. Pointless going on here about what it is tho"

Obviously a Subi fan. The unfair bar takings of Subi from the 22 AFL games was a festering sore long before the alignments. Its gone now so we will see how Subi copes with the minimum dollars they will pick up from the Leederville oval game day takings. Notice that the coach has moved on, cant afford him any longer?
For what its worth I'd like to see WC and Perth align. Would be great for the WAFL.

Schofield still has 12 months to run on his contract.

Nah that really is on the nose...just talking about the alignment in general but there does seem to be some loopholes where some clubs seem to have an advantage. Someone previously mention Subi had advantages from playing at Domain but I have lost contact a bit having moved from WA so don't know the details
