Great idea. We get stuff all from the WAFL themselves and the local media.

Did anyone see the Perth Peel game last night? Be interested to know how Drum and O'B went.

I know Heath Black had 13 possesions in teh 154 point thrashing & by all acoounts - had a shocker. Doubt he'll be back prior to derby

I'll post the main stats for every Freo player that played in the WAFL this week.

Garrick Ibbotson: 23 touches
Andrew Foster: 17 touches
Clayton Collard: 17 touches, 1 goal

WTF?

I thought he was out for 4-6?

And what's the deal with MJ. I didn't know you were allowed to play WAFL while you're suspended.

Edit - Dom answered

K1W1 Campbell went well by the looks of things. :)

Campbell didn’t play in the opening round of the WAFL, but grasped his chance yesterday in a performance that won’t go unnoticed at Fremantle.

Sporting a hair cut that would please a drill sergeant, Campbell imposed himself on the match in the first term when he took four marks and kicked three goals opposed to former Docker teammate Michael Warren.

He eventually finished with 4.2 from his 22 possessions and seven marks to keep his name in the selection frame at the Dockers following Ryan Murphy’s quiet game in Saturday’s loss to Port Adelaide.

Surely CC's gotta drop a few after a loss like that and Murphy's had Kiwi breathing down his neck all preseason.

Nothing against Spud but I'll be disappointed if he doesn't make way for Kiwi this week. What's the point of having depth if it doesn't put pressure on guys to perform or lose their spot?

How can Campbell have 22 touches and kick 4 goals and not be in WP's best? Who picks the best players the media or the club?

I think you'll find that there's a MJ playing for Swans which is not our MJ who plays for Perth.

Brock O'Brien had a dozen or so touches playing in the BP as well.:thumbsu:

Surely Kiwi deserves a spot now. In the interview posted by Freo1995 (good work by the way, keep em coming) CC said Murphy was low on confidence. Sounds like he could do with a stint in the WAFL to get his touch back.

Webster must be knocking on the door too. He was very good against the eagles in the preseason derby.

The problem i see with Murph going down to get confidence is it wont help. He can play FF with SOuth but still wont get a kick cos the ball isnt going down there.

Well i have been listening to Easts vs Peel while watching the Joondies vs Subi.

My man Ryley dunn must have had close to 10 disposals in the 2 Qtr.

Mourish took a strong mark and set up a goal while haing a run in the ruck towards the end of the qtr.

Foster has also been getting a bit of it , but havn't heard much of Ibbo.

Stringer Warnock "crumbed" the Joondies 1st goal

and did another bit of brilliant work on the boundary line where He kept it in , snapped on goal , regained the ball from the smother and passed it perfectly to a teammate for a goal assist.

Just off the Dockers track. Can someone keep me updated on Ben Colreavy for Claremont this season? Really good bloke and a good footballer, would love to have him back at Sturt.

I am sure we can. :)

Ryley dunn ended with 27 disposals but blotted his copybook by kicking 0 goals 4 behinds

Mourish kicked 1.1 from his cameo appearances in llittle gorund time.

Ibbo kicked 1 1 as well but didn't seem to do a lot.

Foster got a heap in the last qtr as his endurance kicked in and is probably running home now as we speak, ;)

Easts won in what was a tough physical game.

Rory O'brien was probably Peel's best with 37 disposals playing on Wowoeden (44 not cheap possesions)

Warnock had 16 possies to 3/4 time and only added one in the last QTR as He tired .

Subi ran over the top of the Joondies with Brad smith kicking 7 2.

Definitely Brock's big bro - well "big" as in "older" but most certainly not "bigger". He hardly reaches Brock's nose in height. Peel's captain and reigning B&F winner.

Anyone hear how Murphs went?

Dunny - 27 disposals, eh? Good for him! :thumbsu:
