Troy Cook- Another outstanding WAFL performance. His work in the clinches was crucial to Perth's win

Micael Warren- Tremedous game from the talented key defender. He shut down Evan Hewitt in the first half and also spent some time in ruck

Andrew Browne- Encouraging effort in this first leage game on the way back from sever hamstring injury

My buddy Schoey had a good game.

Haddrill will be resuming soon.

Not hard to play well when there isn't any credible opposition, as for Haddrill resuming soon, it will be some time before he resumes with Fremantle!

That's the best news I've heard all week. Make no mistake, Robbie was the rock in our no-name defense of 03, but unfortunately has missed most of the time since then through injury. He will be desperate to get back into the side, and he is our best match-up for the goal square gorillas.

More fit players = more of our blokes cutting up the WAFL = more competition for spots = better performances = more wins

or that's how it's supposed to go at least...;)

I have to disagree atm, I think Grover is playing awesome footy and is handling the gorillas darn well! I doubt Haddrill could do a better job. The coaching staff always thought he was better suited to playing further down the field, but we had no depth at the time to allow it.

Robbie played his first game for ages in the Perth reserves on Saturday. Didn't see the game, but he was listed in the goalkickers(!) I expect to see him line up in the league side this Saturday.

From what I've seen he's playing pretty well on the half-back line for Perth. He has a good sized body and backs himself to run with the ball a bit. Still a way down the pecking order for a call-up I would think.
