Well Season 2017 is over which brings us to the end of our Finals tipping competition in the WAFL. The League and Reserves games turned out to be highly entertaining contests while the Colts game earlier in the day didn't end up being the spectacle we'd hoped for. Peel Thunder went back-to-back for the League premiership, Subiaco caused an upset to win the Reserves' flag while East Fremantle were too good and won the Colts premiership fairly easily.

No-one tipped all three games correctly for the Grand Final games with a number of tipsters picking up two points but Spanna_ got the margin for the Grand Final which helped him finish with three points for the round.

With the finals competition all finished we have a winner and it is samFFC who has claimed the win with a total of 14 points. Congratulations to samFFC on being the top tipsters for the 2017 WAFL finals series. Spanna_ was close behind in second with 13 points while getgaff rounded out the top three on 12 points. Well done also to those two guys on picking up second and third place respectively.

That concludes the BigFooty WAFL Tipping Competition and the finals competition for 2017. Thanks to everyone who participated this season and I do hope everyone enjoyed tipping and discussing all things WAFL in 2017. Hopefully we'll be back next year with a bigger and and better WAFL tipping competition in 2018. Make sure you stick around the WAFL board during the off-season, we'll be getting our player movements, news and chat thread for all things WAFL going in a few weeks time.
