Yes, like I said, some difficult decisions.

I wonder if we could play Clarke, Pav and Tabs if we decided to sub Sandi or Clarke at 3qtr time?

But does he really get the chance/delivery at AFL level? Playing for Peel, he is the focal point. Playing for Freo, Pav is the focal point. I don't think he's had a fair 'sample size' for Freo yet. If he was gifted the 'Crozier run' of games it would give him - and his team mates - a chance to become better accustomed to what he offers the team.Tabs has definately put his hand up. But I hate that he never plays like this at AFL level
Everyone else plays two rucks and two tall forwards apart from Port, Geelong and Hawthorn.
Simpson and Sylvia could be delisting fodder if they don't get it together. Both have enormous potential but seem to have a "sense of entitlement" and have to realise you earn a jumper, are not given it. Their efforts in the 2nds of late at least on the stats sheets seem ordinary.
Go away and salivate over the Freagles big win over an under 18's side.
I don't think that anybody cares to be honest. That would be a huge lift for team morale. Can you imagine? Pav playing in game 300 and Mora getting his first game in years? That's the kind of inspirational that can stir an emotional victory.

Yeah, I suppose the Simpson assessment was a bit premature but wait and see. At the end of the day freo wants to build a strong, competitive culture so they need to be aware of players who think they should be gifted a game regardless of performance. The Sylvia free agency move has failed thus far and hopefully it turns around, if not I hope Freo acknowledge a mistake and rectify it. Pride can be misplaced after all. But hopefully Sylvia turns it around.A second year player such as Simpson should not be considered delisting fodder on the back of inconsistent performances in a team that epitomises that. These kids take time unless they are freaks like Wines - a lesson we could learn by looking at the kids brought on by the Cats and Hawks in recent years.
Sylvia is the conundrum.
So many Peel players that I'd prefer to see in the Dockers side atm...
Morabito, Ibbotson, Griffin, Bradley, Apeness, Sylvia, Simpson... the list goes on.
There will be no better gauge for how far Tabs has come than against Geelong next week after he got towled up by Harry Taylor last year in the opposing fixture. A leading target like him marking on the goal side of centre is one of the most important things that we need to help resolve our forward entry issues. Why can't tabs do this in the firsts ??? Bloody hell
It's not all bad, Just had a look at the stats and Peel were moral Victors by the best part of a fair bit.Glass half full=huge improvement and some good individual performances.
Glass half empty=ferking tragic, more than 1/2 the team is ours and they can't win from a 30pt lead.![]()
Oh boy WOWEE Darc he's back!
Cheers bushie, appreciate the report.
