How did ____ go on the weekend?

Why not consult the Alesana Player Video Database.

All WAFL games this year be streamed on 7plus instead of the AFL site.

By my count 13 of the 26 players named have never played for the Beagles before.

And that number might have gone up but for Brock, Gross and Davis’ call-ups.
But this time next week, close to 100% of them will have.

And if those trends continue, we could be looking at 300% synergy within a month.

Excellent, hopefully puts an end to the incredibly amateur coverage we’ve had the last couple years.

Not going to miss the broadcasts being broken for the first 15 minutes of the game, commentators with muted mics, potato quality coverage, awful camera work, the list goes on.

Not sure if it's the utter shambles of the Allen fiasco, or the impending promise of a drought-breaking Demons flag.

But I'm ultra pumped for the WAFL to start. So keen to watch Shanahan, Grego, Allan - even Barnett down back.

Aunty asked to come over for a Saturday PM coffee. Had to tell her to bugger off. Zero regrets.

I don't understand how this will work with more than one game being played at the same time.

Was actually 14 out of 26. Now down to 11 out of 22. Might drop down to 10 depending on who Johnston replaces.

Newbies are Allan, Shanahan, Grego, Champion (AFL), Walsh, TEB, Melrose, Ewing, Brown, Datson and Maximumme.

I hope Bazzo pulls his finger out and starts showing something ..

To be fair his metaphorical finger has been in a cast. Would be better to say hopefully he gets an injury free run at it and we can see what he has to offer.

Yeah dunno if it's necessarily "pulling his finger out" - Clayton Oliver needs to pull his finger out, Tim Kelly needs to pull his finger out, hell I think Barnett would fit that statement more closely.

Bazzo I just hope gets confidence in his body for the next 3-5 games. That's all.

Further in I'd love to see him start putting pressure on HEdwards, Brock etc, definitely, he'll be playing for his career second half of the season you'd think and would at least need to have some very good games at WAFL level + stand up in a few games of AFL. But with all he's been through just want him to get comfortable initially - have some solid workmanlike games under his belt.

The good thing for him is we have a need for his type in the backline so that will help him in decisions on who to cut at the end of the year and mostly his issues haven't been of his own making and when he does get on the park he is usually pretty good.

Hope the kid gets a clean run at it.

Definitely. For me if he was to show one thing to class him as a keeper, it'd be evidence that he can effectively man the top key forward at WAFL level and probably the second key forward at AFL level. He's young so wouldn't expect him to destroy someone for a full game but just showing the evidence would be great.

You don't necessarily have to be a gorilla to win your matchups - his agility and smarts may be more effective than HEdwards' size. But with Maric, Ginbey, Hough all great matchups for midsized forwards, even slightly taller ones, I think he'll need to prove himself as a genuine KPD first, rebounder/mid size matchup second rather than the other way around.
