Wanted
2 Quick as lightning medium players who would be at home playing AFL football
must be able to create havoc on the field

Honestly why haven't the Adelaide F.C. looked at some of these Indigenous players
there must be players out there We have had one of the best players of all time (Macca)
Hire him and give him a MISSION to turn AUSTRALIA up side down to find these players

Does any body agree ???

Yes, I agree.

Even when we did draft one (Milera) Neil drove him out of the club because he wasn't an endurance running machine from Day 1.

Should always have a couple of indigenous small forwards on your list (not Petrenko - is and always has been a defender, not Johncock - defender). Might be a low strike rate but the upside is immense.

Do you have any idea how Milera is going at the moment? His height was probably always going to work against him, regardless of how Craig felt about his aerobic capacity.

And I don't care what race they are, or where they're from, I just want someone who's quick and can read the ball off the pack, so that we can finally stop pretending that Petrenko is a forward.

It'd be great but we'd have to hope these prodigious talents drop to like about pick 50 in the draft because our CEO is a moron. Should have picked up Garlett and made him stay at Mcleods house in the rookie draft

Hell Yes! Doesn't he coach the Boomerangs or something like that? If Macca says recruit this kid and I will mentor him...win-win

Why the petty and needless reference to Craig? Milera wasn't up to it. Full stop. Craig is completely irrelevant to the discussion so why even mention his name?

Ask Rendell........

Coaches don't get to just wash their hands of players who have failed under them and claim "oh, they just weren't up to it."

It's a bit like a player leaving for another club and us saying "oh, he had character flaws."

Milera may not have made it but sending him back to his SANFL club midway through the season wasn't exactly backing our culture, coaches and players to turn him around.

I like the mindset though that the other small indigenous forwards running around were all awesome players with excellent work ethic from Day 1 though.

Need to fast track CEY.

Eagles dont seem to know what to do with him. Played well is ressies yesterday. Find him a home at another SANFL club or give him a run in the AFL. We could so with some excitement and he couldnt be worse than some of our current mob.

I was hoping we would draft Byron Sumner last year but for some reason we didnt. If he has another good year we should have a look at him.

Cant just expect McLeod to do it all for us when he is assistiant coach at Norwood. We need a dedicated Indigenous Development Officer.

I'd also suggest having a look at the SANFL V NEAFL State Game. Some interesting names in the NEAFL Squad. http://sanfl.com.au/news/sanfl_news/2002/

I do not expect him to get released or traded, as IMO only injury has stopped him from playing more games, but the way things are at Port atm one would think that Hitchcock would be tradeable to the right offer.
What do people on here think of him? Would he suit your team?

Playing country football on the west coast, still got freak skills but to say he's been in a good paddock would be an understatement.

Dayle Gartlett ahead of Rory Atkins thread
How handy would Dayle Gartlett from the WAFL be in our forward line. I know he has off field issues, but coming to a new state and a new environment might be good for him. He had 29 touches, 13 marks and 2 goals on Thursday in the seniors. After being overlooked last season he might still scare clubs off, but we should look past those issues and go and get him!

Neade has taken his spot. He will be delisted at seasons end.

He will be de-listed if their coaching staff know what their doing and they do.Why on earth would we want to trade for him when he could be picked up for nothing. Maybe you can offer us Danny Butcher for the right price as well, I'm sure he is also required by the Power.

Straight swap for Slone?

All we need to be good, is a forward, a midfielder, a ruckman, a defender and someone who can play on the wing and we are set.
