warnock and cousins

I watched Warnock on Sunday and he really looks like a good player. Good hands and is pretty good around stoppages too.

Depends on what we have to give up. Cousins should be avalible via PSD so providing he wants to play for the tigers he should be resonably easy to obtain. Warnock is probably worth a 2nd rounder at best. Would be awesome if we could organise a trade and not include any draft picks or keep them to later ones. Say warnock for petifier and a 4th rounder or something would be sweet. Think pef would go alright over there too.

I think Warnock is a good get, but a lot of clubs will be chasing, hence a high price will be paid.

Why the hell would we want to replace Patto? Hasn't had an outstanding year this year, but the way he matured as a player last year in the absence of Simmonds was quite remarkable. He is pretty mobile for a big lad and deceptively good at ground level and I've seen him sell some candy and go around players on more than one occasion (he did it on Saturday too).

Dont shoot me down but we should throw what ever it takes at Warnock bar our first pick. This kid will be awesome. patto to freo plus our 2nd pick.Back up ruckmen are easier to get than a starting ruckman and this kid is the goods. Courage and ability, great replacement for patto who just isnt up to it in my opinion although he does posess courage.Even Pettifer would be a good fit although they cant keep trading for older guys for ever, but the Wiz would be on the outer over there so could work.

Cousins, I wouldnt bother, awesome player but not in our plans.

Cousins yes we need a gun onballer who busts his gut running to teach our young guys how to do it
If he agreed to come to Richmond and entered the National Draft or PSD nobody else would touch him if he chose that club
So you could get him with a 3rd or 4th pick in national or 1st pick in PSD

geez mismanagement of the highest order. here we are contemplating warnock out of need.ruckmen we could have had with our alloted draft picks are wood at 16 s taylor at 51 warnock at 40 and many others. here we are probably paying over the odds for a player we could already have. its a disgrace putt aside that we have not used one draft pick on a young ruckman since ottens. whatever happened to list management and the grow your own mentality when wallace took over.

Patto trade for Warnock with Pettifer and a late pick thrown in if needed.
Huge, mobile starting ruckmen are worth more than courageous second rucks.

Because quite simply, he is not up to AFL standard. Tries his heart out and I applaud him for that, but if we had better options he'd be gone.
Warnock is the better option.
