As for Ottens, the majority of us love him.
He's giving us stuff we haven't had since the mid 90's. A strong marking target in one-on-one contests, a ruckman capable of putting the ball down the throat of his midfielders and a forward who takes the responsbility to kick big goals rather than passing off.

Good to hear from someone from Tigerland who isn't so bitter about Otten's leaving that all they want to post is crap like idiots " it'sintheblood" and "tigerboyz". Good on you Nut.nut said:Of stated on our board that I think Brad Ottens by the end of the year will be a top ten player in the comp and your most valuable player. Taking away nothing from the players that you already have but Ottens is exactly what you needed. And he will deliver, especially when it matters and come finals time he will set the place on fire. He is the best player the club has lost since Raines.

We finished our game and sat back to watch the Seniors v Reserves. I was asked "who is no. 47 on the wing?".
In one of the great replies, I said "Geoff Ablett's brother, didn't make it at Hawthorn, won't make it here".
He promptly played the single best game of football I've ever seen from a player. 20 odd marks and about 8 goals from the wing before he was taken off and hidden until round 1.

Mate that is a pearler! I'd still be dining out on that one.scooter600x said:"Geoff Ablett's brother, didn't make it at Hawthorn, won't make it here".
