Would be a fine, community service at most. What, the place where this assault should actually be?
How many months/years for Lewis on Cripps considering he has a history of violence then?

better not come to Pakenham.Yep.. He's gonna have to wear the consequences of his actions. ..just like everyone else. . .But from his point of view he's better off leaving WA
theres the victim card again peopleare you a narcissist? Because it looks like you are taking great pleasure in watching Gaff suffer here.
What, the place where this assault should actually be?
Did his own lawyer just contradict him?
“He intended to punch him, just not in the face.”
Didnt Gaff say he only intended to push him?
Seriously?Play his entire career at West Coast?
Too cruel.
Yeah players and clubs are just going to lay down and accept the verdict. Has never happened and never will. That would be negligent by the legal professionals involved**** me, Eagles trying down play it by bringing in behind the goals vision and the like... smh. Surely in case like this you just stfu and take your medicine, I'm surprised Gaff would even allow this, well, thats assuming that he is as remorseful as he says he is of course.
so basically he's gunna cop what he deserves and theres no excuse. If he had have answered differently, it would have been.
Gleeson: You were frustrated werent you?
Gaff: Yes.
Gleeson: And it's fair to say you were angry isn't it..?
Later on in closing:
Gleeson: Gaff was lashing out in blind rage...
If he words the cross question properly, Gaff is ****** either way.
The Tribunal might want to deliberate a little longer, there's a good chance Gaff might biff his defence lawyer.
I know people dont rate Sam Maclure but he has been to a lot of these tribunals and his view is that Gaff's QC went down the wrong path by introducing evidence that Gaff was provoked by being closely tagged/ checked etc.
Maclure thought this could only add weeks to his sentence.
If he comes to Melbourne I will giving to him as well.
At first I though you dog.
Then I brought the story he was aiming for shoulder/chest.
Then hearing Gaff say that he went for the stomach in the tribunal and changes to chest again.
As for being a good person I brought that too until he start lying to the tribunal.
Blames the dockers from blocking him from the ball. How much does that happen in a game? West Coast were doing worse to Neale but if Neale king hit somebody, I would be supporting him.
The defence should have hired this guy:

Again, he isn't a prosecutor. He is an advocate and I agree, ADR is the way to go.It doesn't matter.
Yes he is. He's acting for the AFL. He is obliged to follow their instructions (as long as they are lawful, and dont conflict with another obligation).
There are very good reasons for Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Tribunals, Mediation, Arbitration and so forth, but I wont go into them now.
Ive seen something very similar to that in real Court.
Lawyer arguing his client was 'not a violent man'.
Nek minute the client is screaming death threats at the Judge.
Awkward.
If that were the case, then Football (as we know it) wouldnt exist, including every other contact sport.
Am I the only one thinking that the suspension was decided before anyone entered the room.
