I live in Traralgon Gippsland, and at 5:45 today my speakers just started making these weird sounds. It actually sounded like 2 people were talking except i couldn't amke out what they were saying. What the hell could of happened?

Sounds to me as if somebody was running a 27-megahertz (CB Radio) near your home.
The frequency from a 27-meg can penetrate speakers in radios, televisions and telephones.
They can be a pain in the a$$, if it happens with great regularity.
You can try by hunting around your suburb for large aerials sticking up off of sheds and house rooves.

Then maybe speaking with them about placing anti-TV meter filter in the back of thier radio, if that doesn't work - contact Australian Communications Authority too complain if it gets a bit monotonous.
Also could have been two vehicles running CB radios having a two way chat near your home - they can be even worse.

* I know because I used to run a CB here for a few years, and had trouble in this area, because most of the houses in North Hobart are packed in very tightly, much like a lot of the ones in England. I had many visits from the ACA before I ripped it out altogether and went to UHF for a while (operates on 476 & 477 megahertz therefore doesn't cause interference)

That's the most logical explanation I can give you;)

I get the same, it's just interference from other people using radios etc......
The first time it happened to me I was listening to the fox then people who were out in the shed doing some illegal gamibling came on.

Well ok, maybe not illegal gambling, but they working on a car. ;)
