The boys aren't soft, I don't want anyone to think that but my point is that most really successful teams have an edge, and that is a hard edge.

You look at this video and you think, we were not only the most skilled team in the comp but we were awful. So ****ing awful to everyone.

Tell me when the last time we showed some actual aggression? I'm struggling to remember. Jake (Melks) is not the best footballer we've got but he would have been a key part of a 2000 team (and 84/85 for that matter) because he gave a ****, he gave it back. Let him loose, let him be an angry prick. Let him be a Mark Johnson, a Damien Hardwick. What awful ****ing pricks they were, much like a Jordan Lewis or Luke Hodge. A GWS loss might hurt last week for the Hawks, but come finals time, everyone will be knowing that Hawks are arseholes. no one thinks that of us, that is an absolute certainty.

We need some campaigner tonight at certain stages and the only campaigner came from North and I can't tell you how disappointed I am.

I think we should load up in first and second rounders - I'd trade Stanton and Dempsey in a heart beat for a first rounder.
