After the biggest win since the 80 flag we went to Waverly the following week and were smashed.

He didn't say we were ordinary , he said we were along way off ( premiership) I assume. 94/95 was great but we were never going to win a premiership that year. Well you'd think anyway after the way Geelong belted us.

i would think being smashed by 80 tells me we where a long way off a flag, those 2 years where better than the rest of the decade but still i dont really hang my hat on those years and tell every one how good we where in 94/95, going on with the job after was what needed to happen instead we went back to being really crap
maybe we just played above our ability in 95

I actually thought we were best in 96.
Playing North round 22 sucked because I thought at that stage we were about second best team behind them but had stuffed a portion of the year up.
We would have won a few finals I reckon.
