An Ingle Farm boy. We were bred pretty tough.
Top fella too.
We are just only beginning to see his greatness.

It's an interesting one. Right now, he's still "potential" but 5 x $500K isn't what it used to be, it's (I think) more a rate for a "good" rather than "great" player. When you look at what some clubs are apparently giving their equivalent younger players to lock them in, maybe 5 x $500K is a steal.*I think his last contract was 1 mill over 3 years. This one I think is around the 2.5 mark
But we all know TGG is a essentially a troll account that wont go away.Oof. Gibbsgamble just got slapped down by the big meaty hand of reality.
(He posted this on Monday btw)
3 years would have put him right in the FA after the contract end.Nicks must be very impressed with him. Hope we got a good dollar value on this as I wouldn't have thought he'd earned anything over 3 years.
I’d be spewing if we offered Brad 5 years. Particularly on big money.Saw the notification come up on my phone about a 5 year contract extension and was hoping it was about Brad Crouch. But happy to see Milera locked away for 5 years. Looked fantastic in patches in 2018 so hopefully we can get him back to that form this season.
The club has obviously backed Jnr in to fullfill his high talebt potential
Time for Jnr to repay the club

I'm more than happy for him to stay at half back, Whitfield style
Tredders seems to be of the opinion that he's now one of our highest paid players, while Bickley has said the opposite and said he sacrificed a bit of coin for the longer deal. You wouldn't think this would be a large money contract either.
5 years is a lot but I'm far more confident than I would've been giving 4 years to Greenwood or Keath
I’d guess in the region of roughly 3m over 5 years. You wouldn't think this would be a large money contract either.

The thing to remember with long deals is, by about year 3-4 the league averages will increase to the point where Jnr will be right back in the pack in terms of salary.I’d guess in the region of roughly 3m over 5 years.
Reckon something like that is a good deal for player and club.

For such a quite and reserved bloke he seems extremely well liked by the whole playing group going by that contract reveal footage. Have we ever really done something like that before?
Maybe it’s a new thing Nicksy and co are trying to implement, getting around people who want to be here and play for the club.
Or maybe everyone just stoked to have Milera hitting them on the tit from all parts of the ground!
Made me laugh when Blighty and Wilds were talking $300k initially, then Wilds pointed average wage is something like $380k and then they said, ok $400k thenI’d guess in the region of roughly 3m over 5 years.

Is Southerntakeover around to tell us how this one ends up?
Comical - I mean we’re all guessing but surely that’s not realistic.Made me laugh when Blighty and Wilds were talking $300k initially, then Wilds pointed average wage is something like $380k and then they said, ok $400k then
