Was Atkins bombing inside 50's to no one in particular or out on the full? Or was he kicking goals from 50m out right by the boundary?

It's immediate straight back to Mackay thinking where it doesn't matter how anyone else looks they go right back to Mackay as long as he isn't completely stinking up the joint. How many more opportunities does he need to be given? Atkins is performing at about the same level with about 132 games less experience, surely that's of a concern?

He also didnt have 1 effective disposal from his first 12. And hes not a senior player with 140 games to his name, and you would hope if he ever gets to that age bracket he would be more consistent.
 
Just listened to the Cornes interview with Bickley discussing Milera ...........seriously dumb by Bickley to suggest the clubs enthusiasm about Milera is based on Sunday's game :rolleyes: .......seriously, he was in clubland long enough to know the club doesn't hype a player based on one NAB game ........it's obviously based on a body of PS training .......are you freakin serious Bickley :rolleyes:

Comparison to McLeod .......not unreasonable IMO

Milera ......is McLeod Mk1

Cameron ....is McLeod Mk2

People we have some serious talent coming thru .....if Menzel & Hampton can make a successful transition .....then lookout (and this IS NOT hyping up players)

Cornes did a review of the Crows v Eagles on Ch 7 news tonight and he said some insider had told him that Milera will be the greatest player to play for the club. Talk about hyping up a player. That is a big call after 1 game against the weakest Eagles team you could imagine. A bit premature but we are finally getting players into our team that have a high footy IQ.

There's been a relaunch of the original McLeod ......hence the Mk1 :p
 
I just found out on the port board that Milera is a port fan, who wanted to go to their club, but we forced him to say he was a crows fan in interviews.

He was lying in this video because he knew we would take him

The fact that this was recorded before trade week at a time when Port had pick 10 and we had only pick 13 is irrelevant. He is a port supporter who can see the future.
