We need Harley, SJ and King.
We don't need NA to provide a spark, we don't need Stokes to debut, and we dont need NA to come in 'for a spark'.
We need our best players back.
When they are realy that is

You cannot cover for the loss of your best players, but at the same time you are 100% correct when you say it cannot be used an excuse. Poor skills and weak efforts dont magically dissapear when 3 good players come into the side.

We were talked up as having great depth ect and we cannot handle King and Harley out of the team? Apart from them we had close to our best 22 to select from this week. (chose to leave the Dog, Byrnes, Macks and co in the VFL)

Look at the crows outs for the past 2 weeks, still won.

We have had Harley, King and others out during last season and still managed to put up a good show.

Last night after 15min mark of 3rd QTR = Disgrace.

It's unrealistic to think that you'll have your best team on the park at any stage throughout the year.

That said, our injuries have been exactly where we can't handle them...

The thing about our depth is that it is depth in the midfield. We could lose, 1,2,3 or 4 midfielders and would not be in a whole lot of trouble. But look at our key position and ruck depth and it's a different story. Lose any of Scarlett, Egan or Harley and our reserves consist of Spencer (0 AFL games) and promoting Sam Hunt (Essendon-delisted rookie). Lose either of Kingsley or Playfair and our reserves are Nathan Ablett (5 AFL games) and Lonergan (5 AFL games). Lose either of King or Ottens and our reserves are Mark Blake (7 AFL games) or Trent West (0 AFL games). See a pattern here?

I never said that as an excuse, i just don't think promoting Stokes or bringing in NA is the go.
