Week 1 on the Sportsman Challange

For those interested, week 1 consisted of some golfing events and a cricket batting event.

Deledio was pretty average at the golfing stuff but came 2nd behind Andrew Symonds in the cricket batting event (Deledio hit 5 sixes out of 6 balls coming out of a ball machine).

Le lies 4th overall (out of 8) after week 1.

That was pretty low profile. What a stuffed time-slot!
I would have thought CH 9 could have wrung out a bit more PR on this show with the potential interest from all of the different sports codes.

Oh well. I will have to make sure I tune in this week.

thats a shame wanted to watch it, must be a pretty bad show if they stick it on between 5 and 6 on a saturday normally up against such great shows as the gilmor girls or coxy's big break

Especially the game where they walk along that little edge and those boxing gloves come out of the holes in the wall and hammer them.

Though come to think of it, better still, bring back It's A Knockout with surf-lifesaver chicks in 70's string bikinis sliding down oily plastic sheets...

This show is a joke. Abit more promotion of it, some better challanges.. ( golf and cricket have nothing to do with best athlete ) and abit better planning and production of it and how its run could of seen this as a real quality prime time show. You can just tell when watching it it's low grade and very amatuer and could have been much better. Chuck it on at 7.30pm for some good watching before the footy's back.

Coming home to watch Round The Twist...and always wondering if the actors playing the characters would change yet again. Playing GoldenEye on '64 and from what I can always remember it ended in an argument.
Rage, full stop.
