Geelong have already beaten for Richmond by a much larger margin this year.
Yep sandwiched between losses to north and the crows. We have of course won 10 straight since that loss to the crows including wins over giants, pies, eagles and lions both home and away. But yes that day you did get a hold of us, just quietly though, our form is a little different now.

Just taking the piss mate. You're one of the rare posters here whose opinions and posts I take an interest in. When I say interest I also mean respect.

Hawkins out will have no bearing on the result. We beat them without Hawkins, Duncan and Selwood in their premiership year when Taylor went forward and destroyed Rance.
How’d you go in the return game a few weeks later?

Yeah well you wrote your team off halfway through the year, like a like of your supporters. Now it's pure arrogance and we all know how far that got you last year.

At least I've stuck fat.
I wrote them off did I? I think you’ll find I was saying we could still make top 4 before the bye, go have a look and get back to me.

Geelong lost to us in our Premiership year with Hawkins, Duncan and Selwood in the side a month later than the game you’re talking about so I don’t know why the first game without those players would be relevant.

It's plenty relevant. It's proof we can win without stars and not make excuses.

They touched us up at the MCG, were terrific and smashed us. We have quite a few players back that missed that game though.
Likely changes from that match:

OUT: Butler, Townsend, Naish, McIntosh, Stack, Garthwaite, Higgins, Balta

IN: Lambert, Nankervis, Broad, Ellis, Short, Riewoldt, Bolton, Astbury.

We have more experience and in-form players in the side this time than the one that lined up against Geelong. Does it mean we’ll win? Not necessarily, but I think we have a much better shot at beating them this time around looking at those ins and outs.

Cats all ground defence has looked pretty awesome last 2 games and can trouble the Tiges, 50/50 as I see it.

Pies faves against Giants, being at the G and Giants will be nursing bruises and such 60/40 pies.
