Can't say I really agree with that, the Brownlow isn't about team performance, it's an individual award. Whether Melbourne was beaten or not doesnt change the fact that Yze was one of the best on ground.

Surely there has to be some sort of cut off point where no matter how well you performance if it didn't influence the result you don't deserve votes. If someone has 35 possessions and kicks 3 goals but his team loses by 90 points should he get votes? I don't think so. Fair enough if there is only 2 or 3 goals in it the votes can go to either team, but I reckon if a team wins by more than 5-6 goals they should get all six votes.

That's a fair enough point, but that will result in teams like WC, Adelaide and us (when we're on fire) always winning the Brownlow, and teams like Carlton and Hawks having no chance. In a way it makes it bias...

The best player on the ground should get the 3 votes, no matter how well his team plays. The brownlow isnt awarded for being on a great team, its awarded for being a great player.

I don't know the stats but I'd say very few players have won the brownlow from the bottom four. Can't think of any in the last decade.

Now our attention should turn immediately to Adelaide. We weren't very good today but were good enough to come away with the win.

Adelaide will be much harder to beat than Melbourne and we'll need to be a lot better in defence as a result.

I know we wernet good on Sunday I feel stangely upbeat about our chances on beating the Cows. With McPoodle's 200th
and the Anzac fixture historically being agood one for us I feel we'll do it dunno why dunno how but I reckon we'll just do it. Sydney showed us a bit how to restrict them last week and we have better fire power than the Swans arguably . I reckon we'll have an 77-68 win

It sucks that we have always supported ANZAC Day but our game is 4 days after the actual day. We should have played our round four game at home last night IMO.

9 points to us, eh? I tipped us for a 9 point win too. Uncomfortably though. I was hoping for a year of tipping us with confidence, but sadly it's not unfolding that way... :o
