I know it's been said before, but Wardy has always struck me as a young guy with the weight of the world on his shoulders.
The form he's shown over the past few weeks plus the faith the club has shown in him with the four-year deal may hopefully alleviate some of the pressure he seems to put on himself. Which could allow him to take his game to another level.

Great news this kid has been a pro since day 1 with his attitude and preparation doing everything he can plus more to improve his game. It’s players like Ward that sets standards and the culture at a club …….. as Sam said a while back will be a 200 game player in the brown and gold and is coming along very nicely.
