He isn’t going to be the best small forward in the comp, he is an honest trier who gives his all. He is one of those players picked every week in successful teams that aren’t the stars but deliver time and time again when their number is called. Starcevic, Ah Che, Reville, Bailey, Answerth, McCreery, Markov, Old Tom Mitchell, Kolodjasniji, Bews, Close, Rohan and Parfitt to rattle off the ilk of players who Durdin is similar to in the last 4 Premiership teams.

When he was at Carlton, he wasn't used right by Vossy and the other / previous coaches

what he can do if used correctly is play the type of game he did against West Coast when he kicked 4 goals in an attacking role (after kicking 4 goals Vossy apparently had a go at him for not playing a defensive game).

the other time he played an attacking role was when he was at Centrals before being drafted when he kicked 4 goals v Norwood in an attacking role

I think that after a bit of time he will form a good / dangerous team with Richards (and maybe Berry) in the forward line

I really like him a lot. I think he is very much an underrated acquisition by the media, who have all dubbed our trading as a failure.

How our non-selection in the draft, and "moneyball" trading this season turns out, will be one of the big fascinations for me this coming year.

You forgot the bit when Williams does come into the side he starts as the sub then game 2 he play's in defense.
It was painfully frustrating watching some of the selections in 2025.
