I get the feeling that this guy has a bit more to him than meets the eye.
Looks to be a deep thinker with a touch of mental toughness and not just another 103 cm athlete from the Sudan.
you'd have to be mentally tough if you made it as an athlete at only 103cm.

Seems a level headed kid. He looks an exciting prospect. Let's hope it works out for him.

so glad Scott Jones got picked up. He legit should be the number 1 and playing regularly, Vardy FF and Brander CHF
Jones will be behind sandi and the other oaf.

Freo have a love affair with the lumberings type rucks. No one that can pinch hit or in the athletic mould left at Freo now.

Don't know if he will ever make it, but he was super exciting and if he does make it having Naitanui and Olango playing together is scary.

Also like the marketing value of having both him and Bayok on the list, in terms of capturing the Sudanese population in WA (is there much of one?) and hopefully aiding in their development as a talent pool

I expect he'll start in WAFL Reserves and spend a bit of time there at first, yes.
East Perth have basically no rucks now Jones has been drafted. There's another Sudanese lad that rucked in their reserves side but he's even rawer than Olongo

One of Lycett or Vardy will be playing at EP with support from McInnes presumably. So one injury to any of that trio or Naitanui and he's playing in the league side and given EP played Giles, Lycett and Jones in the same team at times it's entirely possible that they will play Olongo with Vardy and Fraser
