As much as I hate to have to wrap the opposition, I'll second Vanders' comments.
A fine effort during the first half of the season by the Crows (given they were largely unwanted in preseason dispatches) and the players have more than earned their midyear break.

Very gracious comments here from some Hawk fans.
I felt before the match that Hawks had too many injuries, players not in their best form, and that this matcch was Hawks third consecutive road trip, and finally that the general trend of travelling teams getting only 20% of games was all going to add up to too much for Hawks to overcome, and I thought that Hawks did well from limited opportunity compared with Crows to be 3 pooints up at half time.
But with Crows having all that play & shots on goal, eventually it had to bounce their way, and it did.
Reasonably valiant effort by Hawks, I thought though, given the overwhelming odds against you. Good luck for the rest of the year.

The Hawks are a mystery to me. I thought a few weeks back when they thumped a couple of sides on the MCG it was the best footy I'd seen all year. I reckon they have as much talent as anybody.
I'd say Nick Holland is having an ordinary year which doesn't help.
What do the players think about Croad going to Freo??
