What confirms that the Thomas tackle was a dog act was the way he gave Bassett a little shove into the ground as he was getting up. It was pretty damn obvious that Bass was knocked out. If you had unintentionally hurt someone, you wouldn't do that: you'd try to help them up or call for a trainer or at least apologize after the match. Thomas is a talentless, cowardly little twerp whose only contribution is to regularly injure opposition players. Pickett at least had some football ability, whereas Thomas has barely SANFL skills.

it was a clean tackle... but just late. it got the punishment it deserved... a 50m penalty.

I think the Crows could do with a player like Thomas. I'm glad he didn't get games for it. Unfortunate accident in a good, hard game of footy. Besides, Adelaide got the best rewards. Didn't we kick a goal from the down-the-ground free?

The thing about our recruitment is, we recruit players who are hardened or can be hardened with a couple of years in the gym, mentally tough, have their head screwed on, and will give everything they've got to the AFC week in, week out. Without fail. I mean when was the last time we put in a 'soft' performance?

And that's why we haven't seen our side dip this year.

And also why we don't need a person who's role is specifically an 'enforcer' just to cover up for the fact the rest of the team is soft as butter.

The only guts shown Sunday was by our lads not stooping to Ports level. We could of, most teams would of, we just went harder and harder at the ball and ran harder. Craig must be proud to have a group of guys so disciplined. It proves recruiting well educated intelligent kids is paying off. Could you imagine Motlop, Brogan and co if Port had 4 or 5 blokes K'od by cheap shots? They would of lost the plot because they are uneducated morons who punch out kids at airports and Doctors walking a dog...
