We'll win Monday

boys ive got a feeling our first win is coming this monday, just got that gut feeling and think if we can back our hardness up we can match them and our foward line can kick more goals,go tigs, dont let this one slip, and dont lose me the 10 cartons ive got on this game

that's massive

I also have a gut feeling that we will get a win this week, I had the same feeling last week and we nearly did it.

Well you should nearly win then?

Sorry to keep posting but mate you have no idea. Last year yes we took the foot of the gas and took you to easily and got complacent and ahead of ourselves and yet we were still able to get 2 points, I am sure rocket would have told the team and that the players are professional enough to not let that happen again, Sorry but tomorrow you will see how real men play.:p
you say i have no idea, but you are backing up my argument. we can match it with your boys we got the speed and much bigger bodies.

The one thing I love about big mouthed opposition supporters is more often than not they are the first ones to disappear after a loss. Doubt we'll see a single Dogs fan around here tonight if they lose.

Its great to carry on before the game, but you'll get more respect around here if you show your face after a loss.

You speak as if Minson is a gun forward.
Moore and co have played and beat much better players then Minson

Actually Minson is definitely not a gun forward. He gives us an occasional target when we need one.

As for the above quote yeah Moore may shut down Minson but that still leaves the likes of Mcguane and Schultz and I'm wondering who they will play on? McGuane is like a newborn foal when the ball hits ground level and Schultz is a plodder at best. That leaves Polo (great VFL player) and Bowden (out of form) and Newman to mind Johnson, Akermanis, Higgins, Gia, Hahn, & Hill who are all capable of kicking 3-5 goals each.

LOL oh my god, some of you richmond supporters make me laugh. The key word there mate is nearly, but you didn't win, so what you lossed by 4 goals, that counts for nothing. And as for you yes you have played some good teams but i believe that Carlton aren't as good as many are making them out to be, the bulldogs showed last year and early this year we are clearly the 3rd best team in the comp maybe second. This year i am confident we can beat the blues and may well go close to the cats again. AS for you being 2-0 i find that histericle. No one gives North any respect, North is still a good, hard football side that would wipe the floor with the Tigers, AS for Freo i still believe they can knock of the Tigers in WA so stop talkin yourselves up if you have nothing to show for it. The tigers are not a good side and should get flooged tomorrow. :p

Nearly against the Cats is a win against anyone else ;)

I never said we would be 2-0 so I have no idea what you're talking about there. Maybe you think we would be 2-0 and feel so insecure about it that you need to say something about how impossible it would be, I said we would be at least 1-1.

North would probably beat us although it would be close, we never beat them so I assume we wouldn't.

What makes you think Freo would beat us over there? Have you seen the scores from last time we played them there?

If our fixtures had been swapped, and I said this in my last post, we would be 1-1 and so would you. The gap between our sides is not as big as you over-confident Dogs fans seem to think. And you really have no reason to be cocky, you may be in the top 3 sides in the comp but you still won't win a premiership before we do, I am confident in saying that.

Well said. It's advice you could no doubt give to your own mob - there have been 20 or more Richmond supporters posting on the Bulldogs board this week. I'll leave it to you to judge the quality of the input.

Too true.

One thing Richmond supporters never do is go awol after a loss like other clubs supporters, plus we cop it left right and centre on the bay but we are always here.

ARE YOU TIGER TOUGH?:D

McGuane will take Minson, and probably beat him, as Minson is about as dangerous as a padded room.

That will leave Moore on Johnson who is more than capable to compete against him.

Rance did a great job on Chapman last week, so it wouldn't surprise to me to see Rance towel Josh Hill up.

Rance may have to take Hahn at some stage, but Newman might get first crack, another good matchup.

Richo will run rampant, because there isn't one player on the Dogs list that would be able to keep him under 20 possessions, 10 marks and a few goals.

Simmonds will be too nimble for Hudson and will likely pick up a fair few touches around the ground on him.

Bulldogs don't have enough decent small-mid defenders to cover Morton and Brown, and I expect one of those guys will kick 4+.

Midfield will be where its won, and with Cooney no where near full fitness or form, it tips the blance in our favour. Deledio, Foley and Tuck are all very good midfielders in great form.

Not sure why Bulldogs fans are so confident.

It wasn't just aimed at Dogs supporters. It was aimed at all fans. There are plenty that like to talk the talk before a game but go missing afterwards. Gets really annoying because they are invariably the first ones to pipe up saying that coaches need to be sacked, players need to be cut/traded and so on. No doubt you guys have some on your board as well.

First off, someone needs to teach you how to use the internet properly.

Rance comment is stupidity at its finest.

While Deledio, Foley and Tuck may not be elite mids, neither are Griffen, Boyd or Aker. Cooney is underdone and is underneath Tuck, Deledio and Foley at this stage of the year.

Morris is good but can only take one of Brown/Morton.

You say Hargrave finished 4th in your B + F. Pretty meaningless comment, who really cares. Brown or Morton should be able to beat him.

HAHA overrating the list, take a look at yourself you fool.

If Richo needs a wheelchair by half-time it will be because we are 30 goals up with Richo having 45 disposals and 8 goals.

The quality and spelling within your posts clearly proves this point.
You know it would save a lot of water and washing if you would stop taking your nappy off during the night .

North nearly beat the Dogs last week so what does that make the Bulldogs?
The fact that we beat North by anything proves we've improved (especially after a trip to Perth), I don't care how much people underrate them. North have absolutely owned us of late even when we're going well, winning the last 5 by an average of plenty.

:)NICE going a**e clown!
Rance - 18 disposals on debut and clearly beat his opponent in Chapman, who is all class and better than any forward on your list, but obviously you don't rate Chappy???
Me thinks a more than handy debut!!!
Interested to see how you rate Picken??? was playing the same competition as Rance was in round one - VFL. me thinks he was pretty handy too!!!

Richo - wheelchair. What, as opposed to Brad Johnson who is a mere couple of months younger???
FFS Slats, he finished within a couple of votes of a Brownlow last year. Anyone who downplays that feat is a pure moron. he's highly regarded by supporters across the league, yet you can't see that???
Then again you boast of Higgins getting 30 possessions, something he has yet to do in his career!!!!
Moron!!!

True!

Was a shocking game to watch on all accounts, very disappointed with the Bulldogs, was expecting a much better performance.

Slater, you are a spud. Rance and Richardson have proven you well wrong. I love the look of Alex Rance, will become a very good prospect in a few years time.

As for the Tigers you were very unimpressive today, although you have a good group of youngsters to build around. Get rid of King, Tambling, keep McMahon out, and bring in players like Nahas, Collins etc and you will definitely build on your previous few performances.

Can't wait to see the Tigers young list come through, as I definitely have a soft spot for your boys, although today I think their skill level was below average, however ours was no better.

Look forward to a better few contests in the future.
