The Town (20 People) - the only twenty people in the town with the courage to fight evil.

Victory Condition - Eliminate the Mafia, Eliminate the Vampires, Eliminate the Serial Killer, Eliminate the Arsonist, Eliminate the Witch*

*If the Mayor succesfuly negotiates with the witch they will not have to eliminate the witch

Can win alongside the Jilted Lover and the Crazy Survivalist and the witch* (see above)

The Mayor (1)
- Cannot be Lynched
- After the death of the Mayor, one of the citizens will be randomly selected as mayor. This can happen up to two times.
- Is informed when the arsonist douses somebodies house
- Each mayor may open negotiations with one other player.
- Will find out the role of the person they negotiate with.

The Doctor (1)
- May heal one person per night. Cannot heal themselves
- Can heal the same person on consecutive nights
- That person will not die (even from arson or from execution)
- Will be informed if the person they healed was attacked and by whom.

The Sheriff (1)
- May investigate one other player per night.

The Witness (1)
- May check one player at night.
- Will be told the person is evil if they are mafia, serial killer, vampire, arsonist or were framed.
- Will be told the godfather is innocent.
- Will be told the disguiser is evil even if the disguiser is in disguise.

The Bodyguard (1)
- Is immune at Night
- May guard one person per night. That person can not be roleblocked, gaoled or killed.
- Will be told if the person they are guarding vists anyone.
- Cannot guard themselves
- Cannot guard the same person on consecutive nights

The Medium (1)
- Can decide to contact a dead person (three times)
- They may ask one question each time.
- After they have died they may contact a living person once

The Priest (1)
- Chooses two players to marry at the start of the game
- If one dies then the other commits suicide (including players who are immune at night)
- If he marries the Jilted Lover to his target the Jilted Lover becomes an ordinary citizen

The Veteran (1)
- Three times during the game the Veteran can choose to have nightime Vietnam flashbacks.
- Anyone (including the Dr, Sheriff etc) who visits him that night will be killed. Even if they are immune at night.

The Vigilante (1)
- Kills during the night
- Cannot kill on the first night
- If they kill a townsperson (a good role) they cannot kill on the next night.

The Gaoler (1)
- During the day they may choose one person to imprison at night.
- That person will be roleblocked at night.
- The gaoler can execute one person they have imprisoned. If they execute the Mayor or the Godfather they get sacked and become an ordinary villager.
- If he imprisons the serial killer and does not execute him, the Gaoler will be automatically killed
- If he imprisons the Head Vampire and does not execute him, the Gaoler will be automatically converted/killed (depending on number of vampire spots)

The Escort (1)
- Can roleblock one person per night
- If they roleblock the serial killer they will automatically be killed by the serial killer
- If they roleblock the head vampire they will automatically be converted/killed

Town Random (1)
- Randomly gets one of the good town roles (except mayor)

Citizens (8)
- Ordinary town people with the potential to become mayor

The Godfather (1)
- Is immune at night
- Appears innocent to the witness
- Can open negotiations with one other player.
- Can control the decisions and the votes of other mafia members (eg if both the GF and the Hitman give me different targets I will take the godfathers decision. Likewise if the hitman votes to lynch someone in thread and the godfather tells him to lynch someone else in PM- the PM target will be the one I coun

The Hitman (1)
- Is the person who makes kills at night

The Framer (1)
- May frame one person per night

The Corrupt Police Officer (1)
- Evil version of the Sheriff
- Investigates people at night

The Disguiser (1)
- At one point during the game they can choose to take the role of the player the mafia kills that night
- When that person is killed their role will be revealed as 'the disguiser'
- The disguiser gains that persons role

The Hooker (1)
- Evil version of the escort
- Can roleblock one person per night
- If they roleblock the serial killer they will automatically be killed by the serial killer
- If they roleblock the head vampire they will automatically be converted/killed

Mafia Promotion - ranked the godfather, the hitman, the framer, the CPO, the disguiser and the hooker
If there is no Hitman the next in line becomes the new hitman
If the Godfather is killed the Hitman becomes the godfather

The Head Vampire (1)
Victory Condition - Eliminate the Mafia and the Town
- Is immune at night
- May kill or convert at night but cannot convert on consecutive nights
- May make a maximum of three conversions during the game.
- Must vote during the day but it will not be counted
- Will be informed of the role of any converted player and if any converted player is promoted
- Can negotiate at night

Converted Vampires (0)
- Can only win with the vampires
- Must vote at during the day but it will not be counted
- If the head vampire is killed the converted vampires can not kill at night (as vampires)
- Restrictions from their original role still apply (eg the vigilante loses a nighttime kill if he kills a town person)

The Serial Killer (1)
Victory Condition - Win if they are still alive and there is only one mafia and one town person left. Converted vampires will count as vampires.
- is immune at night
- If they are roleblocked by the escort, hooker or gaoler they will automatically kill whoever roleblocked them
- Can leave messages on the corpses of people he kills
- Recognises the Arsonist as a kindred spirit and will not kill him

The Jilted Lover (1)
Victory Condition - Get their target lynched and survive until the end of the game
- Immune at night until his target is dead
- Is randomly given one target at the start of the game
- Must get that target lynched

The Crazy Survivalist (1)
Victory Conditions - Survive until the end of the game
- Three times during the game they may move to a different hideout
- Can not be killed on nights that they move (except by the gaoler)
- Will survive the arsonist if they move hideouts after getting doused

The Witch (1)
Victory Condition - Survive until the end of the game
- Choose a person during the day to cast a spell on
- They will find out that players role and be able to control their night actions
- Witch's spells take precedence over orders from the GF or Head Vampire

The Arsonist (1)
Victory Condition - Survive until the end of the game
- Every night the Arsonist pours gasoline on someones house
- At one point in game they may choose to start a fire at night
- Everyone they have doused will die even if they are immune at night
- Anyone who visits a house that is burning will die
- Recognises the Serial Killer as a kindred spirit and will not douse him

Negotiations

The following players can negotiate - The Godfather, The Head Vampire, The Witch and the Mayor

Negotiations are done by telling me during the day. The night I will open up a PM between the two individuals. The person a player chooses to negotiate with will be informed of the role of the person starting negotiations.

Normally the Mafia and the Town need to kill the witch to win. If either the GF or the Mayor open negotiations with the witch this requirement will be voided. This agreement will not be broken if the GF or Mayor are killed.

The Serial Killer and the Arsonist cannot be negotiated with and will automatically kill whoever attempts to open negotiations.

Night Immunity

The following players are immune at night - the Godfather, The Head Vampire, The Serial Killer, The Jilted Lover (until his target is dead), the Crazy Survivalist (when moving hideouts) and the Bodyguard.
However they can still die at night if

- The visit the Veteran during his Nam flashbacks
- They open negotiations with the Serial Killer or the Arsonist
- They are executed by the Gaoler
- They are burned to death by the Arsonist

On Invesitigations

On Investigations

The Sheriff and the Corrupt Police Officer may investigate players at night. They are not told actual roles but are given information. They will not notice if the Disguiser is in Disguise.
Anyone framed will appear to be the Hitman

They will be given this information depending on who they investigate

This Person looks loose. They are the escort or the hooker.
This Person is Old. They must be the Priest or the Witch
This Person thirsts for revenge they must be the Jilted Lover or the Vigilante
This Person owns weapons they must be the Bodyguard or the Hitman
This person reeks of death. They must be the Medium or a Vampire
This person seeks information they must be a Sheriff or the CPO
This person was near a crime scene. They must be the wittness or the framer.
This person is good with knives. They must be the Serial Killer or the Doctor
This person lives behind fortifications. They must be the Veteran, Crazy Survivalist, The Gaoler or the Godfather
The person likes fire. They are the Arsonist.
This person is a stock standard townsperson. (if they investigate a civilian or the disguiser pre disguise)

On Death Notes and Wills

The Serial Killer may leave death notes on the corpses of people they kill. This is done by messaging me in PM.

People with roles may type up something in the PM. This is their last testament. It will be revealed if they are killed.
