Ling was inspirational tonight, leading from the front with star players missing.

He is a Geelong legend and a champion leader.

Those who called for his beautiful flame topped head, hang your head in shame.

Ling's form has improved over last 3 weeks so really happy where he is at.

Definitely showed he is still capable of playing midfield. Stood up tonight when requierd which is the sign of a great leader. Superb game from the skipper.

Yeah, I seem to remember one person on here who suggested he be dropped this week. I'll forget the name to avoid embarrassment.

I don't care if people think he is too slow; the experience and leadership he brings to the table is unmatched at the Cats. And the big body around the contest is very handy at the moment with Selwood out. Stood up after the Bartel and Kelly injuries too.

The reliable left foot kick is back!

Yeah -you got to give credit where its due -i have been calling for his sacking -in the old days at the end of last season he would have been put on a bus to Geelong West -with a one way ticket . But he was excellent tonight -his long Handballs to open up the play -and he is a very reliable kick for goal.

Where is Vinium Coupe????

Dont wanna say told you so....but you are a bit challenged when it comes to your opinion sometimes dude and Lings game tonight showed that

Ling might not have pace, but if you know where to run to your going to get to the right spots more often then a headless chook who can run at 100miles a hour.
