He was doing ok. Not out standing not completely shit just OK. Bloke seems to be a tease. He needs to stay in games for longer. His best game was against brisbane remember brisbane are pretty average atm

Hopefully Astbury gets his knees right. How quickly we forget how good he was last year when Rance was out injured. I'd like to see Astbury replace Chaplin. That should be priority #1. I also think that we look at Carlisle.

Griffiths needs to be traded. Don't care where, to who and what for. He is a spud. Target a ruckman not getting a game such as Hannath from Freo. Speculative ruckman as Kruizer is not the answer.

We need another inside mid and out side mid. Outside mids - Bennell and / or Yarran. Maybe look at Hall. Selwood as an inside mid ?

I would definitely ask Dangerfield what his asking price is. He is worth more that whatever Cotchin and Lids are getting paid simply because he has a track record of finding another gear in finals. something NONE of our players have. If any players have a whinge about payments, just give them a copy of the three failed Elimination finals..

Did you see when he went for a spoil twice on Sunday and made a meal of it for them to score goals. Your first impression of him was right. Dont second guess yourself hahahaa. He is a liability in defence. Put him up forward where he wont cost the team much!

sorry for coming into your board but there were some glaring issues that separated Richmond from just making up numbers in the finals and actually competing for the premiership.

1. Another big CHB-should look at targeting one of wce surplus of backs target 1 should be Mitch brown. Will also let rance rebound and attack more

2. Some real mongrel from the players in the middle to assist the players being tagged. Hawthorn Geelong ect never let their stars be cut out through games others would go and rough up the taggers which Richmond didn't do.

3. Crumbing forward- a quick young X factor forward will bring an extra dimension to your forward line. Will also help capitalise on Riewoldt and vickery's aerial abilities

This is how I see it, too. In the same order, even.

My priorities:

1. A big at the back. Defence is not versatile enough at the moment, and allowing Rance to break the lines from someone else's aerial work will make him even more impactful. How many teams make it far into the finals without a genuine big guy at the back? Or at least a guy who can move back on the coach's whim. Kind of makes me think Carlisle could actually fit the bill. Good in the air in defence, and can at least mark the ball if Ty is injured. Set shots will come good with time, hopefully... (until then, he can mostly pass it off if the shot is slightly difficult)
2. Someone to get dirty in the middle. We rightfully think Hodge is a turd, but he's a lightning rod for his team and he doesn't let anyone take a beating without fighting back. We'll get more reports, but we'll be less squishy down the middle. Cotch went missing; that is a major problem
3. Not that any are really available, but a small forward who can snap at silly angles and be really creative. Imagine a front line with Ty, Jack, and 80% of Betts. Not sure this realistic at all though
