Anyone used a MRF?

I had a hit with a MRF Genius (the bat Sachin uses). It was magnificent, although a little heavy (3lb) for my liking.
Yeah i tested one out when selecting my latest bat...but like u found it to be a little heavy when playing the horizontal shots.
Just as well weighted as the Bas - Vampire bat that im using at the moment. Top bat the MRF though.

Gray Nic Longbow Titanium Longblade 2 12oz.

Beast.

In my experience Kookaburra manufacture rubbish, and I'm yet to meet a person with a V800 who doesn't wish they'd bought something else. Having said that, the V500 from last season (not available this year) is a magnificent bat.

Puma bats have great feel and power, but they tend not to last as long as a lot of other bats. Trade off between performance and longevity (and saving $$$)

Ive had to retire but may make a comeback. due to work commitments.

i used a Slazanger V 800 but i didn't get out there much, i normally used a 25 over worn Kookaburra Leather.

If i start up i might get a good MRF because they are little beauties.

Still got the Gray Nicholls Scoop with the Greg Chappell signature that I got in grade four.

Yeah I have got one as well. Hand me down from the old man, wasn't a bad stick actually. Now have a Gray Nic Ultimate, being a bowler, it hasn't really seen much action.

I have a brand new Newbery Mjolner 5 Star, beautiful bat. Didn't like the stickers on it as they are a bit boring so i have put Puma Classic stickers on it (Very similar shape). Looks the goods and plays even better.

Recently treated myself to one of these. I bat like a number 11, so why not use the same stick as the world's most infamous number 11...

I also wear these for good measure:

GM cannon Original LE. worth 500, bought for 200 on sale, not overly thick but so light and pings off really well.

also have a 30 or 40 year old SS that feels like it weighs about 4'6. Things a monster, can only use it in lower grades, can't get the thing down to quicker bowling.

that is bloody crazy! shows how loose they were back then. take that thing to some rank offie, shatter a few windscreens

it's not actually a 4 and a half pound bat, but it picks up really badly compared to my GM, just feels really big and clunky in the hands. it is a colossal bat though, always get comments from opposition on the rare occasions I bust it out

Used Gunn&Moore's exclusively for 15 years and was exceptionally happy, went from Maestro's thru Autograph Originals and finished with Purist and Purist II, always dabbled with others (Laver & Wood), SG's and the like. Three of four years ago I went up to Daylesford and had Julian Millichamp make me a Screaming Cat Professional. Unbelievable bat, first hit with it, pushed forward for a stock standard forward defensive and got three. Gave it to a mate to have a hit with last year, who had a reputation as a bit of a batting bunny, he smashed 40 in quick time. He came off and said "Gee having a good bat makes a difference". Highly recommended.

Have the Bradbury players bat, 2.6

Long handle and short blade, very wandy. Quite a soft feel to the wood but it cannons, made here in Perth.

A good handmade bat is the way to go. Millichamp and Hall bats were amazing when hand made, then they were bought out by Puma and are pretty average. Screaming Cat and Bradbury would be my choice. A fair bit cheaper than the big names too
