For me, i expect.

10 - 15 games

10 - 15 goals.

rising star nomination.

One half/quarter of football where we all think he'll be the next Tony Lockett.

Im expecting 5-10 games, 0-10 goals...

I'm expecting the same from our good friend Travis Varcoe who showed me absolutely nothing in my first glanse at him yesterday in the VFL.

About 20 games.
He'll be your 2nd best Key-position forward, marginally behind Ottens.
Will take a while to adjust to the speed and pace of AFL but should adapt quite well.

Go close to rising star winner and become a superstar.

NAB Cup Premiership Captain and Michael Tuck Medallist.

He'd be playing AFL this year if he was on any list.

I've got big expectations, mainly due to his size. He is ready to play now. He has the body and skill to go with it.

If it wasn't for the fact that Bomber hates putting newbies into the lineup early.

He will get a serious run in the pre-season to see where he is at, then due to lagging memberships Nath and he will play, and boost the team/coffers.

The club would be mad not to run him in the preseason, then see how he goes, I know everyone will be impressed by the lad as he has shown he has a big heart, and a great ability to mark/goal.

All up I expect him to play 12+ games and kick about 20-30 goals.

I would get some games into him but wouldn't put too much pressure on him and play him out of a pocket and let mooney hold down CHF and then if mooney injured (or out for other reasons) he can share CHF with NAblett. It is possible we will play next year with 4 tall forwards with mooney, ottens, hawkins and nablett. Maybe 3 talls against some teams and ruck ottens more if he gets a full preseason??

25 games, 100+ goals!!!

Well, thats what Dermott thinks all Geelong Supporters expect!

All I want from him is to present a target. 10-15 games. Goals are a bonus.

Don't want too much pressure on the kid, so hopefully the return we get will be:

18 touches a game
12 marks (6 contested) a game
80 goals for the year

Just ease him in with a light workload for his first year, and let him take control in 08/09.

its been said in some circles he is a better junior than judd. if this is the case he should play all the games and play for australia at the end of the year...

personally i expect 15-20 games, closer to 20 if he doesnt have any injury worries and 30-40 goals...

Oh, I forgot captaincy, Brownlow, AFLPA MVP and the Coleman. Not sure about the Norm Smith though, but most likely. See how we go, he's only a kid, don't want too much pressure on him.

It all depends on the preseason he has. Assuming he trains well, gets his fitness up to AFL level, I'd expect him to play in the NAB Cup, and then depending on form possibly in the seniors for Round 1. From there on we'll see.

If we get 10 or more games, 20 or more goals we'll be OK. Don't forget he'll be competing with Mooney, Ottens and Nathan Ablett at least for key position spots. More than likely he'll be in the pocket, at least to start with. He may not get the chances the other forwards get.

Either way, can't wait to see him out there. Might fire young Nathan's competitive juices also.

i'd be happy to see him play around 10 games... hopefully in a couple of those games there will be a few 5-10 minute spells when he'll be on fire, sorta like N.Ablett was against the Eagles last year.

It sounds like he'll need to build up his fitness and AFL level skills. I reckon he'll get a few games in the second half of the season, unless an injury to someone forces his early entry to the game. In that case I bet his first game is a blinder! We'll have to be very careful that he is not pushed too far and ends up injured like a lot of the big new names were this year.

If Bomber continues his pattern 3-4 games max, baring any injuries, if he decided to play first years, 12 games, 15 goals, rising star nomination.

More than anything, just present, crash packs, straighen us up and provide a dangerous lovely option.
