What do women know that us men don't?

The thing is, I've seen personally, false allegations been made twice before.

On New Years Eve, we caught a chick we know down at the beach in the bushes, doing what you do, with this guy. We asked if she was alright (to make sure this guy wasnt taking advantage of her), and she started crying and called over one of my friends (girl) and told her that she was r*ped.

Well my friend told us, so I told this bloke (his friends started to arrive at this time) to **** OFF and start running pretty quickly because they were about to get the crap beaten out of them by her brother who was down on the beach. Anyway, they started going and then her brother and his mate came up and started laying into the guy and his friends. Anyway to cut the story short, the cops came and everything settled.

Now, we find out that nothing has come of it (gee, I wonder why).

Another story was, when this guy I know broke up with his GF at the time, a couple of weeks later he went to a party where she was, and she started telling people that he r*ped her, trying to get him bashed. IT was all bull****, and she eventually admitted it.

...and you wonder why people are cynical. It's like the boy who cried wolf.

I dont think that there is any woman who doesn't feel sympathy for a woman who is r*ped.

What I think most women are thinking (and I tend to think it has "some" merit) is that these girls chased after the players, contacted them and then drove them back to a house to have sex. Now if they didn't want to "swap" partners they dont have to and shouldn't be forced to , but they seem to be crying foul play when they not only placed themselves into the situation, they actively sought it. The players (if the allegations are correct) are culpable but I dont think these girls are innocent parties either.

allegations without witnesses are always very hard to prove

and yes like most women i feel that if you say no even if you just had sex with someone's mate or 6 or his mates you should be able to say no

for me lookign from outside the situation you think "oh why didn't you think beforee you got into that situation - you should have been be more careful" - both the male and the female!

but also rememebering being young ( 35 year old mother now!)and having a few drinks or whatever and you feel totally confident & able to handle whatever comes and sometimes all of a sudden you're in a situation that you wouldn't have got yourself in if you were stone cold sober and that goes for the blokes as well

if the situation was ( and of course us outsiders will never know)

we were both drunk (or whatever) and at the time i never heard or got any feedback of "no" & i honestly thought she wanted to

and there were no injuries or signs of force , then if i was on a jury i would find it very hard to find the guy guilty

It certainly is surprising- was talking about the St Kilda thing with a non-football following female friend of mine the other day, and her opinion could be summed up 'the skanks are probably lying, and if not they deserved it anyway.'

Was a somewhat taken aback by that- Milne & Montagna should be doing their damndest to get all female juries.

A female colleague was pretty harsh on the women. She seemed to equate them to 'predators' and basically said she was sick of women who tried to seduce other women's fellas (I know the facts of this latest case don't quite support this interpretation). I suppose women might have more to 'fear' from a 'tart' than anyone else.
