Couple of good wickets for sure. Doesn't change the fact he couldn't manage more than 12 runs
A third as many runs as Watson could score.. in an innings where we easily made 500.

Vs

Two crucial wickets against set oponents who were the two top scorers for England which is infinitely more than Watto could manage as that hack hasnt taken a wicket in ages.

People forget the importance of wickets.

Chop ons. It wasn't good bowling, it was average bowling and terrible batting. MM doesn't stand for Mitch Marsh, it stands for Military Mediums. Wouldn't be afraid of his bowling if I was batting.
He was bowling faster than watson.....
If he is military medium what is Watson?

Also chops on suggest he was doing enough with the bat to make two set, in form batsmen miss the middle of their bat by two inches and chop it on. Its the exact same a catch in slips just on the inside edge.

Allrounders have the ability to do both. Marsh failed with the bat but succeeded with the ball. For a long long time Watson failed at both. Time to look to the future not a 34y.o has been.

Marsh average of 49 with the bat and so far 11.5 with the ball. Are we still prematurely comparing based on what they've produced?
Where are you getting those averages from? He averaged 37 with the bat and 63 with the ball

Just have to hope he somehow stays fit for a decent stretch, he clearly is going to one day be a much much better allrounder than watto but right now watto might stay in the mix simply because marsh doesn't have a great injury record but if marsh stays fit watto is done for good.

Us winning was totally related to watson being dropped. Nothing to do with smith and rogers.

Had a fair bit to do with Marsh getting 3 critical wickets!

No Watson= win.

No Watson = improved side.

Like Marsh can actually bowl and when you think back that Watson was apparently in the side for his bowling, well it does make it a head scratcher that's for sure. Finally removed our handbrake.

Rogers might have to retire...Voges has a bad hip...3rd Test starts in 10 days. Could the unthinkable happen? Could the unflushable turd return?
Rogers will be fine, its not related to the concussion even though some are trying to link it to that. He has suffered from dizzy spells before in his career and just needs rest and making sure he is fully hydrated. I've never heard of a two delay in a delayed concussion.

Voges is the one under threat, when you are over 35 and not performing you don't get too much time. Since his debut century has failed to make an impression in the next three matches. The match against Derbyshire could well be Marsh v Voges for the 5 spot in the 3rd test.

Everyone knows nicks to the keeper aren't worth anything. LBW or GTFO
So that rules out about 250 of Lillee's wickets:oops:

load of rubbish from Brades, a wicket is a wicket. The scorebook doesn't paint a picture after all.
