However, with the alcohol prices in Japan being nothing short of insane (20 bucks AU for a 700ml bottle of JD), I can afford to splurge a little and go for some of the higher shelf stuff. Any good bourbon or scotch with coke is my usual poison for a party or home.
When I'm out, usually whichever beer is on tap will do fine. At my local they have Cougar and Bundy and coke on tap for fairly cheap, with a free sugar rush

I'll drink damn near anything, personally. Favourites include:
Bourbon and Coke (huge bourbon man, love it, favourites are Jim Beam and Cougar)
Malibu (normally with Coke or Pineapple Juice, either is good)
Cruisers (they taste bloody great, and I can slam heaps of them away if I need to. Normally drink the Raspberry ones)
Cider (either Strongbow or Mercury Draught, only the Draughts though cause the Dry tastes too much like wine and the Sweet is sickly)
CUB beers on tap - not much for the Tooheys at all, don't like the stuff, but I can handle Carlton and VB. Personally I think the only benefit of beer is that it's cheap - it doesn't taste particularly good, it bloats you and you feel ratshit if you drink it too quickly - and I can't drink it out of stubbies cause I don't like the taste enough, and hence can't drink it quickly enough so it gets warm and there's nothing worse than a warm beer. Also I work in a bar so eventually you just get to a point where you just don't wanna know about beer at all.
Also should mention Jager Bombs, they're good gear but last time I got amongst em I ended up with a court date.
