AHHHHHHHHHHHH and to top it off the news articles say the guy they suspected that did it commited suicide a month after the murders... which was also 20 years to the day I woke up and the lights where on.

I think I am reading too much into this... I am going to turn off my laptop.

And lock the doors, close all the windows and stay in the kitchen near the knifes.

Still reading these but thought Id post mine now.

Not really a story but at my parents house (Where I grew up as a kid) down the hallway into the bathroom I constantly saw a woman from the 1850's that looked something like this

just leaning on the door frame, lil weird.

My mum also told me of one of her friends who one night picked up a hitch hiker....Just driving along having a chat then all of the sudden he disappeared, apparently the bloke died on the same road in a car accident. he was hitching a ride then too.

You pick him up where he got in the car and he disappears at the scene. (I travel this road almost daily and have not seen it myself, although I do keep an eye out.)

I'm with you my friend. But all you can do is believe it or not believe it. Even if it is fiction, it is still a freaky story.

I had a dream that I did a hold up job with Wolfgang West from Outrageous Fortune at a 7/11 and then stole a taxi to get away, and the taxi driver was Xavier Ellis.

I had a dream that Sideshow Bob's older brother (but not Cecil) helped me kill Nazis on the corner of George and Elizabeth St in Sydney. The only problem is, George St and Elizabeth St run parallel!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:

When i was around the ages of about 5 - 12 our family used to constantly visit our aunt's place in Orbost on a farm. We'd usually stay overnight but sleep was generally delayed due to the excessive and painful creaking of the house, even on carm nights this would happen. As you could imagine being a child this shat me to tears and to make matters worse i remember one night i watched a horror movie the about bloodthirsty clowns (can't recall what the movie was called) before i went to bed....wrong move. Also my parents' bed was on the complete opposite side of the house so i didn't really have the courage to call for help or walk over to their room.

Then one time when i woke up (we're still at my aunt's house) i fell into the dreaded sleep paralysis. But this wasn't a normal episode, when i was experiencing it i heard voices. It sounded like a really sick old women who was about to die. I attemped to look around as much as my paralysed sate would allowed me to but saw no one. After a while it stopped, but surprisingly i wasn't as much scared as i was bamboozled, maybe cause it happened in the morning and not in the middle of the night. Weird stuff.

Oh and there was a sheep on the farm who at night time constantly stared at me through my window. No matter where i stood or moved it's would follow mine like a hawk (or well, like a sheep haha). Needless to say i was out of their in a flash. Luckily we don't visit this place much anymore.

Also not really paranormal but i has a really weird and creepy dream. I was walking casually walking into the bathroom of my house when i saw all 3 members of my falmily in there, and my mum uttered the words "I'm sorry Marky (my name it Mark), but you're going to die." And just like that i woke up.

Thank goodness you didnt because what you saw in there might have been even scarier!:p

I've always found this type of thing incredibly fascinating. By nature I am a pretty imaginative person so the idea really appeals to me, but my logical side makes me question it.

On a school camp last year we went to Tassie and the ghost tour (In Port Arthur? Can't remember) was part of the camp. Some of the stories were very believable, one in particular stood out for me. The jail where they kept the worst criminals had a cell right next to the entrance, and during the tours on occasion a ghost would poke its head out and stare at the tour guide, not just any stare but a stare of complete hatred and disgust, like he wanted to kill the tour guide. The thing is only the people on the tour could see it and not the tour guide. As the tour slowly stepped backwards with a look of fear and shock on their face the tour guide was completely unaware.

As this started to happen more the people on the tour were asked to give a discription afterwards, every single person of every single tour gave a similar description. The description matched perfectly to that of the cell mate that had been locked in the very cell. Personally I have never encountered any Paranormal Activity, that tour is the closest I've had.

Don't think I have used the word 'tour' so much :p

Yeh the ghost tour is very good, especially if you get a guide who can tell the storeis well.

I did it once and although nothing happened definattely a freaky tour.

Not surprising its haunted given the shit that has happened there in the past
and more recent times unfortunately.
