What to do with Glen Jakovich

One of the hardest things for supporters is when it is the time for champs to retire. Jako, Milli, Kempy and Roo have been absolute champs for us and football. Now, in the next 1-2 years they will probably retire. I would love to see them playing forever, but only if they are at there best. Kempy clearly has a back problem, and these things don't just go away, they affect you for life. Trying to milk 1 more year out of a player, cause they are champs, but then having them suffer for the rest of their lives, is not the right thing to do. I would love to see Jako playing awesome up forward, and if he does I will eat my words, happily, but unless that happens then it is no use. I'm not saying get rid of all the experienced players, definately keep them, but when it is time for retirement, for their benefit, we have to except it.

So lets get one thing straight you have made not effort.

Jacko=Biggest waste of a million dollars

Freo midfield=Highest possesion midfield

No Frodo most of the people that hate freo will be found on this forum.

Thought this was a good time to bring this up. Yes Sabre, you have shown your stupidity as have I.

Earlier this season, I was one who thought Jak should go at the end of this season, but after this game against the Lions, the great man with a huge heart has revived his career at CHF.

I owe you a huge apology Jak and I shall never write you off again. You have proven me wrong and you show why your are so highly respected by the club and supporters.

I dare anyone to search through my posts and find one where I ever brought down the great man! After his bad season two years ago, WC fans and opposition fans said he was finished. I said he would bounce back. Last season he almost went AA.

Again early on in this season, WC fans and opposition fans write him off again. Not me, not ever. Jakovich is just too damn good!
