Roast What went wrong?

It's nobodys fault in particular, just a chain of events that went against us and we couldn't bounce back from.

Heaps of players went missing in the forward line/midfield. Goodes and Kennedy weren't enough to cover the loss of both players going missing and Mumford, ROK, Bradshaw and McGlynn being injured, and when your midfield is underperforming, the defence is under attack. It's not Grundy's fault the ball was being booted to Hall left right and centre - for someone with a much weaker physical presence he was always going to be beaten when Hall was given space.

Our depth is good, but it's not good enough to cover the hole left behind when half the team is out injured, missing or running on one leg.

Next year has massive upside for us, no reason to cry over spilt milk :)

Yes Goodes did his bit and more, the lack of physical presence down back to help Reg out was the problem. Which Goodes was able to assist with in Sydney.
This is Reg's first full season at CHB and up against the leads most menacing forward, who is not only in form, but with a point to prove. Also it must be added Reg was without our two most senior key backs to lend a hand in a major final. This seems to have been discounted by some in dishing out their serves.

Not sure if the last part was aimed at me or not but I certainly wasn't having a go at Reg. Just pointing out the facts. Hall beat him comprehensively.

No it wasn't.
Though thrilled at the thought of having caused offence to some slob around here.
