How about White & Pick 20 for Solomon & Jacobs.

Essendon need a ruckman which we currently have 3 of while being despirate for quality backmen which these two are.

All 3 still have good footy ahead and Essendon have the chance to draft a good player with a fair pick at 20.

I think this could be one of those trades were everybody gets a good deal.

Do you have the money for Solly????

That is the only reason he is considered tradeable... we can't afford what the Tigers are willing to throw at him. Otherwise he is priceless to a young developing Essendon side and they won't consider letting him go.

I also happen to think that EFC, if they were willing to ditch both these guys, would get a better deal than that from somebody.

For some reason Sheeds seems keen to end up at the top of the draft picks this year. If you were to consider trading a high pick than you are probably more in the ball park.

I think with White gone and Ellis off the list a bit of room would be freed up. I would say White is on some fair money.

Solomon is exactly the type of player Melbourne need and would be mad not to cuck a bit of cash at him. With him and Jacobs we could go a long way to fixing our defensive frailties.

I even would go high as pick 5 for him if all other things fell into place. Would that be a high enough pick?

Solomon is one of the few players available worthy of pick #5 but I wouldnt give you it straight up.

Tell me if any of these deals tickle your fancy -

Pick 5 for Solomon + Shane Harvey

Pick 5 + Walsh for Solomon + Jacobs

White for Solomon straight

I would do them all.

White, Wheatley & Pick 20 for Solomon, Jacobs, Richards & Pick 13 seems more on the money.

Danners might give you anything that you want.

He is trying to recruit the whole Bomber side that whipped the pants off the Dees in the 2000 Granny.

We had moorcroft, we've got Heff add Solly & Jacobs he starting to build a Melbourne empire of Essendon players.

Don't get me wrong, it is a good idea 'cause the Bomber sides we have played over the past 4 years have almost always whooped our butts.

You're after young KPP, which is what we need to restock (although, we'll likely do so in the draft) so I don't think you'll trade any of your current young KPP to us. But I think we'd like something else along with pick #5 in exchange for Jacobs and Solomon. Just allow me to peruse your list...

Wheatley could be an option. Physically mature and still young. It looks as though he's struggled to settle into your senior lineup.

Perhaps you might be persuaded to include Lamb in that deal? He's been at your club for four years but hasn't seemed to find a spot. And Ryan Ferguson seems to have overtaken him.

Any other players you might want to offer?

Or perhaps a later draft pick?

Lamb is a weird one Stevo. Last year he finally broke in to the team as our number 1 full back and had a great year, helping us to reach the finals. This year, he was mysteriously dropped by Daniher. I think the kid has great potential though.

Do you think he's a player who could be used to sweeten a big trade, or is Daniher keen to hang on to him?

Considering he went from our number 1 full back (after injuries) to being dropped all year without a clear reason, I'm guessing Daniher will want to use him as a trade sweetner.
