These items and many more will be up for grabs at Geelong’s season launch this Thursday night at the Park Hyatt.

Fans can buy once in a lifetime opportunities at the auction during the night. Highlights include a day in the coaches’ box for the Cats’ round two clash with Carlton at Telstra Dome, where you will get first hand insight into the tactics, moves and inner thoughts of Mark Thompson and his coaching staff.

If a day in the box isn’t for you, how about a BBQ with Corey, Bartel and Kelly flipping the burgers and cooking the snags? You can secure a BBQ for you and five friends at your house.

Or you can take on Gazza and Kingy at Kingpin at Crown Casino. You and nine friends will join the Geelong stars in a ten pin bowling game, with the Cats duo captaining the two teams that go head to head. Who’ll end up with the bragging rights?

A day of surfing with vice-captain Cameron Ling
Dinner with Paul Chapman and Josh Hunt at Koko restaurant

Personally I can't think of anything worse than the first option listed there. I find both surfing and Cameron Ling, quite, quite scary.

Eeeeeeeeewwwwww! NO WAY! Okay surfing with everyone accept Read, and possibly Kelly and SJ too (they annoy me too much)! Maybe Sladey could replace them?

The dumb thing about this is that the auction is at the season launch event which cost $140. I think I'll have to miss out on this one. But if anyone wins something in the auction I'll be your friend for the day that you get to hang out with players.
