I'm so proud of the boys from where we've come from. Now we're in the finals, and we've done it in style. We are becoming a professional team, with convincing wins over sides we should beat (something we didn't do in the past), taken a few scalps over teams like Hawthorn and Freo, and we even broke the Cairns hoodoo. We have also passed 60,000 members and have almost wiped away all our debt. Heck, we've even had our 2 largest sponsorship deals in the club's history!

The only way is up. Go Tiges!

For me, tonight has raised the stakes.

We are playing for a preliminary final. Carlton will beat the Swans if they get through and I will jump off a bridge if I see that happen.

Swans are ripe and we are playing a side who were not good enough to get into the finals.

**** the proud of the boys stuff, I need this win and I need it baaaaaaad.

Taking Monday off if we lose.

Don't sweat it Birdman.
We couldn't ask for a better first up final if we'd dreamt it up.
Don't be surprised if Carlton fans are leaving at half time.

please endolge me as i am having monetary painic attacks about the thought of loss
Do yourself a favour and avoid any further monetary panic attacks and back the tigers!!

lol only to rturn when blues kick 6 un answered goals like last time.... just the fact blues fell into the 8 and we played so hard for 5th and we get snubbed.

The last time we played in finals, I was in year 6. Win lose or draw - I'm proud of our season and plan to enjoy tomorrow to the fullest (obviously will enjoy it more if we crush the blue baggers!)

I think we have a considerable edge as Carlton were preparing for their holidays and we have been preparing for our finals campaign. Ironically, the week we "stepped up" our training was before the Carlton game where we ran out of legs and were run over. That's why I think we will win and win well. We are primed, they can't believe that they are playing. Before they were gifted 8th spot, Malthouse was seething at his playing ground after the Doggies loss, and he didn't want his team to given charity. Now he embraces it, but his team are not mentally ready. They "switched off" after the doggies smashing.
