Davey's shoulders might hold up a little better I'd sayEllard or Sin City?
That's because he is around the ball, which as you say probably says a lot about our other midfielders, I get annoyed watching him stick a lame arm out when he could influence the contest. As for the OP, Ellard is a useful cog in our midfield.just quoting the factual stats mate. Judd was 1st last year and is 2nd this year. Numbers do not lie so take that anyway you want. may say more about the rest of the list than your judgement of Judd

Didn't except a post like this from you highlighting a WA player in a negative light. While I know posting stats is just about banned here, Ellard has averaged 1 extra tackle and 5 extra possessions this year. Just because Mitch has improved, it doesn't make Ellard's efforts any worse.dropped from 2nd best tackler to 3rd behind Judd and an improved Mitch
Ellard is a beauty.
There is no negativity about him being in the side, people are only saying if he was no longer in the best 22 we had, we would be a powerhouse to be feared. I think it is a credit to Ellard that he is seen as the benchmark for effort in the club.
yes but playing more minutes and more influential role inside so expect his numbers to be up. Was not being negative just posting a stat and also giving a pat to Mitch. Stats only say so much but there is a question about our hardness and effort. Tackle counts can reflect that esp when our opp have had a heck of the ball of late. We need to be able to control the flow of play better and not by going back to holding up the ball and kicking backwards. AJ proved how silly that is on countless occasionsDidn't except a post like this from you highlighting a WA player in a negative light. cheers mate. Guess it makes sense but by all accounts his pre-season endurance was outstanding-hard work over several year paying dividendsI had noticed what you're suggesting Guns during the Melbourne game, the first I was able to attend this year, so I spent some time watching him. As much as I wish he applied himself to doing that as its an invaluable asset I truly believe that it is the current role that he is being played in that has prevented him from doing so on a consistent basis as in the past. He has to preserve as much of his energy and effort for the inside role than he did last year and perhaps the thing that has come at the expense of that is the extra effort spent in that department.
probably because he follows instructions and does not like bombing it in hope too often. When he has done this it never ends well so always tries to get it to a targetHe has poor awareness in open space.
Gets caught too often with clean football.
For his size, is limited.
