If its up around 32 000, as well as the 4 tdome games against Hawthorn,St.Kilda,Essendon and Carlton???

You should get 40 000+ in each of these games.

With this week as well as the Tigers-guarnteed sell outs, and 22-24 000 or so on for the West Coast's of the world and 27-28 000 for the low supporterd interstae teams, as a worse case scenrio.

Geelong could average around 36 000 this year, pretty good considering they thats a higher average then there normal home ground can fit.

Geelong look to be in for a good season both on and off the field

The capacity is no bigger now than before the redevelopment at 28,000. Bloody AFL doesn't want anything to challenge the dome. The ground has already sold around 23,000 for all matches this season at Skilled, so most matches will be 27-28000 regardless of the opponents.

What the hell? Attendance 23,019... What the hell happened, I thought it was sold out? With a capacity of 28,500, what the hell is going on here?

I think the policy of holding tickets back to match day has come back to bite the club in the arse. I was tossing up going to the match today, as it's not easy getting away at the moment, but what really swung against it for me was the uncertainty of travelling an hour each way to a match where there was a perceived great risk I wasn't going to get entry. I suspect there were a lot more with the same dilemma

Something is amiss.

I was in the standing area today and at most they could have fit a couple of hundred more in there.

Jim, you can always book entry to the general admission area. It costs $5 at a TM7 outlet.

I was under the impression that the club was holding on to a few thousand for sale at the gate only.

If it is the same system as last year, you can pre book. I did it a few times last year as I was a melbourne member.

Driving down today I heard there was 1500 tickets remaining. I guess this might have been wrong.

I still can't figure out where they would fit the extra 5k people.

was at the game today (well done today) and i couldn't see how they could fit in another 5000, it looked pretty packed. When they put the number up i couldn't believe it.

also, is Chapman the most underated player in the AFL, awesome week in week out.

Must be because there are still some (hello RodgerFox/Leo.J) who believe that Chapman isn't good enough to make the best 22 of a decent team on his merits.

Chappy is as important as anyone on our list. Absolutely vital to our game.

BTW Speaking of underrated, Mitch Hahn. Bloke deserves so much more credit then he gets. Does stuff that no one else at the Doggies can do yet doesn't get any credit, even from his own supporters.
Give me him over Robert Murphy any day.
