Slightly off-topic, but I also have a question.
Can I burn a torrent file, which plays on VLC Player and is an MP4 type file to a DVD disc so I can watch it on a DVD Player? If so, how?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, im just not very computer illiterate.

If you burn it as an MP4, the DVD players has to have the capability to play MP4s. Not many do (although a lot of cheap brands do have this feature). Most decent brands support DivX playback (which is more often than not an AVI file... not sure if files with DivX as the extension qualify... never tried it). However, to play BOTH DivX and MP4, you'll need to find a DVD player that does both. They're harder to find than I thought. I did manage to pick up a cheapie for $40 at EzyDVD last year, though.
Otherwise, you should be able to burn the file into DVD format, but you'd need an application that can handle this. Basically, it takes your MP4 files and turns it into the files you see on a regular DVD.

Wouldn't being "not computer illiterate" make you pretty cluey when it comes to computers?![]()

You need a codec. Go to download.com and search codecs. So it shouldn't stop me from viewing it? I opened the file but can only hear sound, there's no picture.
That one is the best. I have it and it's great. Except how sometimes it takes 7 hours to burn a cricket game.ConvertXToDVD will be able to convert MP4 to DVD format and burn as well.
