Seems every year clubs land big fishes during trade week , but never Collingwood, i could be mistaken but i can't remember any - Medhurst does not count.

BTW pre draft i can't remember any either.

He is worth no more than that. Too many people don't actually watch games but prefer to go on reputation. He has the body of a 32 year old, slow, can't kick over 40m, doesn't get enough of the ball.

He is tough as nails and courageous but this is not enough to warrant anything more than about pick 25.

I believe Geelong landed Ottens.....Collingwood have been chasing success longer than Carlton. Last flag was 1990 wasn't it?? Maybe a big fish would have been the difference.

he fell out of their best 22
when he was given games he was only given about 50% game time
he is out of contract
and he has stated he's leaving the club.

St.Kilda make me sick... all year he's on the outer, then come trade season they're talking him up like a superstar.

Lovett is a better player and stkilda were happy to offer up pick 16 for him. 10 picks lower is a pretty good offer if you ask me.

Forward line suspect?

Medhurst will get a full pre-season this year and should be back to 2008 health at least.

Anthony will improve after his first full season playing AFL.

Cloke will hopefully have an incident free pre-season.

Dick will improve 2nd year back from a knee reco.

All these 4 have shown they have what it takes to make an impact at AFL level.

Then there's Dawes who has shown glimpses and should be given a good run at it next year, not to mention Didak, Thomas, Davis, Lockyer etc... floating through there.
