Exactly, we should have had Bailey on Skype - stuff the AFL, as we should never have received Melbourne's penalty, unless they want to take on our Tippett draft pick penalties in exchange.

Its a ****en joke they didnt get a 4+ draft pick deduction themselves. To make it worse, the fine they did get is going to be refunded at the end of this year when the AFL hand them about $3M in prop up donations.

Effectively, the AFL will pay the Dees fine + more & the Crows will be the only club penalised for the Dees "tanking". We should have appealed if we had any balls. What other club would put up getting a penalty for another club's dealings...

Can't agree with this, from all credible reports he was given an ultimatum by Chris Connolly and the Dees heirachy, if he'd railed against it he would have got the arse for sure as at that stage he didn't have the reputation of a Mick Malthouse or Kevin Sheedy to tell them to piss off and still keep his job.

Conolly should have got a life ban!!!!

We got hit hard for what didnt even happen at our club FFS. Does this potentially mean that the entire coaching staff at EnhanceDon - if found guilty - will be barred from partaking in the coaching duties on gameday? Be real funny with no one in the coaches box but life-sized carboard cut-outs
I believe not having Bailey next to Sando has hurt us. But FFS - even someone watching from the moon could tell the way we played against Sydney was just WRONG. We looked as though we were totally clueless out on the park. Maybe Sydney after FreeHo was too much to take?
