When the trouble & strife heard we were taking on Tim Watson as coach she swore she'd never again have anything to do with the Saints.

She's a Saints jinx anyway just like her father (aka Jinxy) - I've banned them both from anything Saints.

The little bloke on the other hand is the opposite & has only been to a couple of Saints games over the last few years where we lost. Last year people changed their footy tips depending on if was actually going to the game. He's now old enough to come along to all the night games too, so we're in for a good one

my nephew, in a saints family goes for Eagles.... I took him to one match, Eagles won ... his 5 & tells me saints are losers, eagles are winners ....

It IS a constant battle.

Little bloke came home from creche years ago singing the tiges theme song he'd learnt from one of the carers there. Needless to say he was locked out of the house until he repented, a formal complaint was lodged against the said carer - she was subsequently fired & he was cleansed by a local religious cult I tracked down & we moved him to a new creche.

Another time, hawthorn were mentioned in favourable tones, so the little bloke's father had a nice double helping of chocolate ice cream for dessert that night. That mob was never mentioned again.

OK, a bit of an exaggeration there - apart from the ice cream & sitting on the front door step alone for 5 minutes to think about his offensive behaviour.

Hey, I didn't spend all those afternoons standing in ankle deep mud on the moorabbin outer when I was a kid for my heir to not know the value of true loyalty!

I went through a Geelong phase when I was about 11-12, much to my shame. My SISTER married a flipping Blues supporter!!!!! Disgraceful!! She converted to Carlton!!!

Probably not but would have been interesting if they were coming from Perth (ie would have played West Coast if we had lost to Essendon).

I rang the club regarding the Family Day and below is what they told me......

Starts at 11am this Sunday at Frankston Park.
Address is Carr Street Frankston.
It was originally scheduled to finish at 2:30 but they have now extended it until at least 3 due to overwhelming interest.
