Hawks will win against Saints. So it will be the winner out of Hawthorn vs Sydney to play us

Would prefer Swans just a tad over the Hawks... just.

Either way happy days

Unless the weagles lose to Melb and Brisb away... then we may play the WC at the G... how great will it be to beat them, then the Cats 2 weeks later, then the Pies in the GF...
This happens I'll be satisfied for 10 years, only thing that will top it off is beating the Blues in a GF

Ok, ok let's not get ahead of ourselves...

The Qualifying Finals will be Thursday night and Friday night. Precisely zero chance either is on the Saturday.

They are scheduled that way to allow the losers to have the extra break over the winners of the Elimination Finals.

Last year the Crows (1st) hosted the Thursday night and the Cats (2nd) hosted the Friday night.

That would suggest Tigers hosting Thursday and Eagles Friday. However I’m pretty sure the reality will be Eagles Thursday and Tigers Friday because for whatever reason they seem to like these Adelaide/Perth Thursday night games. They are even more likely to put the Tigers on Friday if it’s against Collingwood.

Personally, I want Thursday because I have tickets to a gig on Friday night and will have to do some major reshuffling.

I like and agree with everything you've said above - except I hope it's the Friday night - as I've booked flights already for the wife and I. and it's very very unlikely we could both make it for the Thursday.
However I'll be glad to know it's worked out for you :thumbsu: - if it all goes pear-shaped for us :'(.

I’ll still make the game on Friday, it just means offloading my gig tickets or eating the cost of them.

Whenever it is, looks like it’s almost certain we’ll play the winner of Swans/Hawks next week in the QF.

It would take the Pies losing or the Hawks annihilating the Swans for Collingwood to drop out of third.

Hawks only 0.2 percent behind Pies. Say pies win by 20, Gawks win by 35-40, their positions will change. Probably even less than those margins

Who do you blokes prefer over Hawks/Swans?

Feel like Swans are slow and rely on Buddy winning them the game. But they always stand up in big games

Hawks are coached by the master but don’t like pace and that’s one of our strengths. Not a real deep midfield either

We’ll have rebuilt our list twice by the time Carlton make the big dance.
